3 College Senior

Weather: Nice days are wonderful, but winter can be cold and its always windy. Never expect to have perfect hair again.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: A few sororities and fraternities available, easy to get information on if interested in joining.

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: Pretty decent dorms, easy access to dining centers, easy to make friends.

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Great variety of restaurants and dining options available throughout Fargo, West Fargo, and Moorhead.

3 College Senior

Drug Safety: Alcohol is banned on campus, but on campus drinking does occur. But if you don't drink, you are still able to make friends and participate in activities.

5 College Senior

Transportation: Free transportation across campus and downtown campus through MATBUS. Being a student also allows you to use the MATBUS transportation throughout Fargo for free as well. Still recommend bringing your own vehicle though if you plan on having a job or going to events off campus.

4 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: Lots to do off campus, decent sized city yet still remote enough that it doesn't feel too big.

3 College Senior

Campus Dining: Pretty decent options. Pay for campus food, or eat in food court, which has pretty decent choices.

3 College Senior

Academics: Overall, the courses offered are great, but some professors are only on campus to do research, so those ones tend to be less caring about the course(s) they are required to teach.

4 College Senior

Academics: My major is Microbiology, and there are great courses offered. Labs are very informative and let you have important hands on experience.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Varsity sports, especially football are a big deal, lots of support from students and the community. There are also a large variety of club or intramural sports offered.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Easy to make friends, but more likely to meet people outside of campus than on.

3 College Senior

Diversity: Not very diverse campus, but it seems welcoming to all.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Lots of apartments and housing available around campus, the closer to campus the more expensive it is though. Also there is affordable parking available to those that live off campus.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: Pretty easy process. Apply for FASFA, make sure to let the school know of financial aid or other scholarships.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Good course offerings, but some bad professors who are only on campus for research.

3 College Senior

Diversity: There is little ethnic diversity. We bring in some international students but not many.

4 College Senior

Transportation: NDSU provides students with free public transportation.

4 College Senior

Athletics: NDSU is known for its football team and has won three national championships recently.

Weather: NDSU has a couple of snow days each year. Winters are harsh and make walking to class unbearable sometimes. Wind chills are dangerously low as well.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: There are many available apartments in Fargo. Housing near campus is more expensive and less available, but there are many options.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: NDSU offers students access to a wellness center. It is large and offers students exercise machines, weights and classes. It is free to students. They also offer daycare to students who are parents.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There are options for different restaurants near campus. Campus is located close to downtown which makes it convenient to eat at a variety of places. Downtown also offers a great nightlife for students.
