At North Central College, students will find every type of person. On the whole, though, students tend to be respectful and more reserved socially. Some students are very outgoing, but the majority is not. Most students are from the local area and are more concerned about getting home every weekend than fostering closer relationships with friends on the weekends. Students living on campus usually become close with those immediately around them, but not as close with the members of other dorms or with commuters.

The majority of campus is fit and athletic, and therefore, good looking, according to both sexes. Relationships are more of the norm than "hookups," but there are plenty of opportunities for both. The College has more girls than guys, but this barely affects the social situation, as many students have relationships with students at nearby schools or in their hometown, which is usually not too far away.
