3 College Sophomore

Transportation: The campus is very large so walking can be a burden if your classes are not near each other. There are busses available around campus but they do not come as often after 7 pm.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: Campus busses are very frequent and easy to get on. City busses go everywhere in Raleigh and are used by students often.

5 College Junior

Transportation: The Wolfline is great. There is multiple buses for the main routes along hillsborough and centennial campus. There is a variety of routes to meet regular class needs and housing along Avent Ferry and Gorman Street. CAT buses are also available to take you all around Raleigh.

4 College Junior

Transportation: There's the Wolf Line and the CAT bus in the immediate area, then there's also the Amtrak. If you're a student the transportation office offers a GoPass, which let's students ride the city bus (CAT) for free. I think that's awesome.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: The campus shuttles do what they need to. We also have a Campus Cruizer program that is much cheaper than taxis and very helpful.

Transportation around campus is not hard to find. Students have the option of driving to campus, parking on campus at their designated spot, or going to a nearby Park-n-Ride. The campus bus, the Wolfline, makes it easy for students to get across such a large campus easily. The Wolfline also runs at night, making it easy to get around to the bars located on Hillsborough Street and to local apartments without the hassle of finding a DD. Many apartments have shuttles that allow students to leave their cars at home and not have to deal with buying a parking pass or finding a spot.

Public transportation is also all over Raleigh. Students without cars often take advantage of the CAT to get around to grocery stores or even the mall. Another perk is that most public transportation is free for students with a campus ID. You may even consider resorting to what is now one of the most popular ways to get to class-riding your bike or your skateboard.
