Off-Campus Housing: I commute 15-20 minutes from Cary daily. Pros- Free parking, more food options, dormitories are not great, many near buy apartments with good quality
Cons- The is not much free parking, while walking to cars many students get their phone stolen after 8pm.

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing is okay but not very close to the campus. The school does not assist at all with finding any off campus housing and they do not have any plans or packages. Our school is only affiliated with housing on the campus itself and nothing else.

Off-Campus Housing: The apartments do credit and background check and most students here do not even have credit so it makes it harder to get an apartment off campus. The places that do not do the credit checks are run down and are slums. They require you to furnish everything down to the refigerator and stove. And again I ask what college student can afford to furnish a whole house worth of stuff with no income. It forces you to get a job and then once you start working you have to choose between class or work to keep the electricity and water on.

Off-Campus Housing: Majority of students live off campus at North Carolina Central University. The school provides shuttles to and from the school to specific apartment complexes. This means you do not have to worry about public transportation if you do not have a car.
