3 College Freshman

Weather: The weather is so iffy one minute it is raining and the next the sun is out. Or one day it snows then the next its warm outside so it really affects my plans and campus activities as well.

3 College Junior

Weather: Moving from the warm coast to Greensboro was initially good. Fall semester starts out hot and sunny which I am used to. The fall isn't that bad, you'll have hot days and chilly days and some storms. The winter is when it all goes to hell. In December, January, and February it will most likely be freezing with mountain air blowing in to make it worse. Or a nice day like 70 and sunny to just play with you then a huge snowstorm. But mostly winter is cold, cloudy, windy, some snow, and some beautiful nice days mixed in to throw you off. In March Its either hot or cold. One week in March it was literally 80 degrees and snowed the next day. April and May things start to settle down and stay nice and warm nothing to hot. The hottest days are in August and September with highs in the 90s.

The weather in Greensboro is interesting and can be very unpredictable. Based on NC A&T's southern location, most would assume that the weather is usually bearable. However, the weather changes frequently throughout the winter. Some days, it may snow, while on other days it may be sunny and warmer than usual. Based on these changes, it is wise to bring clothes for every type of weather. It can snow in Greensboro anytime between mid-December and early March. Usually, spring means lots of rainy days or rainy weeks, so it is very wise for students to invest in rain boots or other types of shoes to be worn during rainy weather. Also, students should bring heavier jackets for those colder days and nights, as well as shades, shorts, and sandals for when it's hot because it heats up rather quickly! Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons, when the weather is generally stable.
