3 College Freshman

Facilities: I haven't been to that many places on campus but I've been to the library and it has some stupid processes but for the most part I like it

3 College Freshman

Facilities: I think my school is pretty okay but I don't think the people that are already there are welcoming really

4 College Junior

Facilities: I live off campus but whenever i interact with other students, its always friendly.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The campus is pretty large. Most of my fellow classmates have classes that take place all over campus so the walk is a downside. Most people show up late because of the distance. Parking on the campus is sub-par. Most students are fighting to find parking spots and end up being late to classes because of this.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: I love it. Its just the right mix of academics and social life.

The North Carolina A&T fitness center is still fairly new and has many amenities, such as an indoor track, a classroom, lockers and a dressing room, showers, an aerobics room, and plenty of new fitness equipment. There are also two other gymnasiums: Corbett Sports Center, where the Aggie basketball teams play, and Moore Gymnasium, which is used for intramural basketball games, the annual Student Union Activities Board Haunted House, and "gym jams." The Memorial Student Union features a game center in the basement with pool tables, an air hockey and ping-pong table, video game systems, big-screen TVs, and a computer lab. The library is very nice and has resources for students to use 24 hours a day (except Fridays and Saturdays). During exam week, the library provides food, snack bags, and study breaks for students at 12 a.m. There are many study rooms available in multiple buildings and residence halls across campus and just as many computer labs. Students here have access to anything and everything they may need, and if there is something not offered on the A&T campus, there are facilities within the Greensboro community that students can utilize.

School Slang
Aggie: The NC A&T mascot and what A&T students call themselves. The name comes from the University's agricultural foundation.
Traditions
  • The A&T Four Sit-In Celebration: Every year, the University celebrates the February 1, 1960, civil rights sit-in movement sparked by four A&T students.
  • Greek Probates: Each Greek organization presents its new members to the student body.
  • Gym Jams: Popular school-sponsored parties
  • Homecoming: This is a very popular event for current students, their friends and family, and A&T alumni. Events associated with homecoming include a parade, concert, and, of course, football game.
Favorite Things To Do
