Diversity: I really don't see anything wrong with the diversity because I see all types of people, but there are a majority of african americans here

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: I have learned my lesson from the mistakes I made last semester

Parking: This currently doesn't really apply to me, but I have heard that its first come first served. Early bird gets the worm.

Computers: Usually the availability of computers is very slim to none which is why having your own computer is very essential

College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food looks good I haven't actually eaten there yet.

College Sophomore

Academics: I don't know any of the teachers yet.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: They have a lot of diversity.

Overall Experience: I have yet to attend this school.

Scholarships: I have only recieved one so far but I look forward to getting more.

College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: I have yet to attend so I wouldn't really know.

Scholarships: I could tell that the faculty who worked in financial aid really wanted the students to know how to do their own financial aid. They believe that it would be more beneficial to us than our parents, but my mother did all of my financial aid because I did not know where to start with that. I never applied for scholarships here, but I am about to start because my grades are good enough to receive one.

Local Atmosphere: I have not been around Greensboro that much to figure out what is going on from time to time. As a young adult there are somethings I am personally interested in: the three story mall, the movies, trampoline world, and the coliseum. The places in the area are very welcoming to students such as churches and events happening in the city. Safety is not really a big issue because the cops be on top of their game. I have not seen so many cops come so fast to a place in my life since I moved to Greensboro.

Campus Dining: Although the food is great in our cafe and student union it is still upsetting that unhealthy food has the majority on our campus. The way they set up our flex dollars is awesome. I think that was a very smart, creative way to do so with student monies. Our cafe food is good in my opinion; sometimes the chicken is a little dry, but nobody's cooking is perfect. They always provide us students with full course meals and of course they give us the option to take all of it or none of it.

Health & Safety: I know if you need an officer you would always find one. They are everywhere! My only issue with the safety around campus is students walking around alone at night. Even if there are officers around students should always be with someone because anything can happen. We are not in an enclosed campus anymore, so it is very important still to do like a buddy system. As for the security, they are always around when they are needed.

Campus Strictness: I would have to rate this very well because they are strict when it comes to things like noise level, visitation, respects of others, illegal use of drugs, cleanliness, or anything. The Resident Assistants and the Graduate Hall Director means business when it comes to their jobs. You would expect them to be lenient because they are around our age, but they really are not. At least in my dorm they act like that. If we are not performing at a well level as females in my dorm we get things taken away. Sometimes it is a little overboard but I think that is what makes them more superior in the dorm. We have quiet hours so other residents get their work done. There are rules about loud music and usage of computers in the lab. We have rules basically everywhere in the dorm. We rarely have visitation, so if we want to talk to friends outside the hall, we have to go outside, go to their room, or meet up somewhere. They are so strict it makes you want to get your own place or apply for another dorm with less rules.

Off-Campus Dining: I do not really eat off-campus due to my preference, but there are a variety of places one can eat from Italian to the old-fashion BBQ.The cost is affordable and most places give student discounts. I must say they are very convenient even if you do not have a car. Some of the restaurants that are really good are more distant, but of course they are fast food places. My personal favorite is Jimmy Johns because they are very convenient, cheap, delicious, and they deliver through any weather. I know some places team up with the university, so students can use their flex dollars to pay for other food. For example, Papa Johns; you can use your flex dollars to order pizza instead of using your money off of a debit card or cash. This is a very cool way for students to have more food choices than the ones around campus.

Greek Life: Personally, I do not know that much about the "Greek-Life" simply because I am not enrolled in one. However, they are very active around campus and they are very social. You can tell by their conversations what they are about. Joining the Greek system is very secretive, so I do not know what soon to be Greeks go through. Word of mouth around campus, Greeks are pretty cool. If you want to know anything they would tell you as much as they can without breaking any codes or anything. I know their Greek housing is off-campus but it is very near as in walking distance. Whenever we have events on campus, they are always there and very welcoming.

Campus Strictness: We are pretty much treated as adults with no rules

Drug Safety: The drug scene on my campus is not bad at all.The students on campus or students that live off campus truly know better because our rules are really effective. From what I have been around, students do not pressure other students to drink or smoke. They are very mature when it comes to things like that. Our students would not risk their education for drugs or illegal use of alcohol. I believe we take our education way more serious than that. They are times when students get caught, but once others find out they get more cautious about those things. We have students that takes those things seriously and if they can they would put a bug in others ears about how bad it is. They truly try to inform us about the importance of staying away from those things on campus or off campus.

Campus Housing: Many residence halls have been remodeled recently.

North Carolina A&T State University is an amazing institution of higher education. There is no other university with as much school pride. With such an inviting atmosphere, spending a few moments on campus just isn't enough time to see the greatness that is NC A&T. A popular slogan that most Aggies live by is "Work hard, play hard!" Not only do Aggies excel within the social scene, but first and foremost, they excel in and out of the classroom. Aggies have been invited to present research at various prestigious institutions, offered positions within the top corporations of today, and have even gone further to obtain doctorate degrees all over the nation. "AGGIE PRIDE" stands for "Achieving Great Goals In Everything, Producing Renowned Individuals Dedicated to Excellence." Each time an Aggie steps foot in a classroom, they know it's time to excel, go further, and reach new heights! Not only do the students excel, but the professors and faculty members do as well. They are more than willing to mentor, assist, and motivate Aggies on the rise. Student advisers not only help students register for classes, but they also have helped students find the proper outlet for their dreams to soar. One of the greatest benefits of attending North Carolina A&T is the vast amount of extra-curricular activities and campus organizations that add to the social atmosphere. There are organizations that directly correlate with your desired major, hometown clubs that help you connect with those from your hometown, and even groups that help you hone your hobbies. In all, North Carolina A&T State University is one of the most unique institutions in the United States. Aggie pride is worldwide.
