3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: There isn't any Greek housing but they are a big part of the community.

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life is very important at Newberry college. One reason I thing Greek life is very important to have and be involved in is because you do community service with girls that you can consider to be your second sisters.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life is popular on campus because there aren't many students. Most everyone at Newberry is involved in some organization. Those who aren't in greek life aren't looked at differently by those who are.

Greek Life on campus is very popular. Many of the students are involved in some kind of organization, and Greek life is one that is favored by many. Greeks on campus participate in many activities, such as philanthropic events where they raise money for an organization and help out around the community. The Greek community is looked up to around campus because all of the things they do for the community and campus. Some students disagree with the Greek system and have their opinions on each sorority or fraternity, but each group tries to incorporate non-Greeks into their events, making sure no one is left out or alone. Sorority housing is not available, but there are areas where one hall is occupied by the girls of that particular sorority. Fraternity houses are available but are located off campus. They serve as a meeting place for the brothers and a place to throw parties and mixers.
