3 College Freshman

Computers: The wireless network is extremely slow at times and the school website is often down. There is wireless access almost everywhere on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: There are several computers in the library and any time I needed to use one, there were always several available. A majority of students have laptops so there isn't much competition to use a computer in the library.

4 College Senior

Computers: I mainly work in the graphics lab, so availability of computers isn't a problem for me.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: The computers work really well at the school, but there are only a few and only in the library.

Computers: Printer NEVER Works! The computers at Newberry are very New and work quite well pluse there are several computers to accomidate a great deal of students. However, whoever thought it was a good idea to buy one printer for the entire studnet body to use is stupid. The printer can't handle that kind of constant use and is broken more offten than you can use it. WiFi has its own issues in the older dorms. But overall WiFi is good.

There are 13 computers available in the library for students to use to access the Internet and print papers. The library also has online web journals, online catalogs, and electronic resources available from any computer on campus, making it really easy for students and faculty to access information from their computers. If you don't have your own printer, Wessels Library has one you can use. Each student starts off with 150 pages, and money can be added in the accounting office if needed. A lot of students on campus have laptops and access the free Wi-Fi offered at Newberry. If you have issues connecting to the Internet or operating your computer, the IT department is really good about helping you solve your computer issues. The Internet connection is very strong around campus. No matter where you are, you will have a strong connection and fast Internet.
