3 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather is very cold and snow has been heavy this past winter.

5 College Freshman

Weather: I love the weather in new york city. You never know what it's going to be like out there. It makes going to and from class fun.

2 College Sophomore

Weather: It's bad in the winter when we have to walk in snow

3 College Junior

Weather: New York gets all 4 seasons. You better be prepared for that. It's the most beautiful in the Spring and Fall, and most unbearable in the summer and winter. Winter is usually pretty during the holidays, when the shops are all decked out and the city is in festivities. But January, February and early March are brutal. The wind cuts through you like ice. In the summers, temps can soar and the worst is the smell. All sorts of nasty smells appear in the summer.

But in the fall and spring, you can enjoy the beauty of NY with some of the best fashion, dining and entertainment opportunities in the world.

2 College Freshman

Weather: New York is notorious for having snow but this winter was one of the worst and that can have a large impact on commuter students such as myself. Most of the time classes will continue on their normal schedule despite the weather, unless of course there is any danger.

New York City experiences all four seasons, the best and worst of each. Although the spring and winter can inflict thunder- and snowstorms on the city, for the most part, city weather is not too bad. To be more specific, winter winds can be quite harsh, and heavy snowstorms can make commuting in the winter a hassle, but NYU's environmental sanitation team is very good at taking care of the mess nasty weather leave behind.

In the summer, the weather is absolutely amazing, and the popular parks in the city become a haven for relaxation and fun. Overall, NYC weather is quite dynamic; the best way to prepare for its "moods" is to pack with all four seasons in mind.
