Scholarships: the process wasn't too bad but the money wasn't enough

Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: I did not get financial aid for college so I have no opinion in the matter. I did get academic scholarships though, and getting the money was a fairly easy process.

Scholarships: It is an over priced and financially corrupt institution. I have received about a fourth of my tuition in scholarship but if I do not receive more I will be in crippling debt. The tuition is approximately 65K a year with room and board, but its hard to give up when you have wanted this for so long. My tips would be to keep trying and keep working with the financial aid office to get as many options and as much money as possible.

Scholarships: I was lucky enough to get a scholarship covering about half of total expenses but that still leaves me with upwards of 30k debt per year that my family cannot afford so I have to take out loans. All the help that I can get is appreciated.

Scholarships: A lot of people don't get any financial aid and the requirements to get financial aid are very high. They tend to set the requirements very high for who can get financial aid and it is very unfortunate because so many people do not get the help they need. We also have a lot of international students and I don't think they receive financial aid at all so those students pay full price which doesn't seem to raise the amount of help given to US students.
