5 College Junior

Diversity: My school has been declared as one of the most diverse and accepting school in the country. There is a lot of minority teachers and students.

Weather: When the weather is great, I actually feel great being at school since I am not jealous how nice it is outside, which will motivate me to do more work so when it is nice out, I will not have a lot of studying to do.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school has provided me with a great education, even though the school's rankings are very low.

5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: The school is very strict with many academic policies. There is a zero tolerance policy for cheating. On the other hand, their policy for drinking in the dorms is not very strict since all students are above the age of 21.

4 College Junior

Nightlife: Being in NYC, the night life is amazing here. While the school does not provide entertainment in regards to nightlife, the city, itself does provide many options.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Many law schools do not provide housing and the fact that there is housing for law students is a plus. There is security that guards the entrance and each room has showers and a kitchen.

5 College Junior

Computers: Besides the fact that printing costs 10 cents, the school's technology is extremely up to date.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The school is in a city with many options, but during the evening period there are not many options available due to the area the school is located.

5 College Junior

Academics: There are great teachers here that really work hard to provide the best education.

5 College Junior

Academics: Very well structured and organized curriculum. Many extra activities that you can do to get involved with academics and a lot of study options provided during exam period.

5 College Junior

Transportation: Public transportation is the only option or use your private car.

5 College Junior

Campus Dining: Extremely well prepared and very tasty.

College Junior

Greek Life: We do not have greek life since we are a law school.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: There is a lot of security that controls the entrances of the building. Other than that, the NYPD controls the perimeter

5 College Junior

Nightlife: Located in Tribeca, by all of the top clubs, lounges and bars in NYC. Easy to walk to or take a short mta ride or taxi.

4 College Junior

Transportation: Public transportation is really good in NYC especially in downtown NYC

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: The main building is only a few years old and is stunning. There is a terrace on the fifth floor to study and eat on with sweeping views of Tribeca. The classrooms are comfortable and well equipped with modern IT systems

College Sophomore

Greek Life: There really is no Greek life. This is law school not an undergraduate state school. If you are concerned about Greek life you probably shouldn't be going to law school.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I live in my own apartment in south Brooklyn with roommates. My rent is about $700 LESS than what they charge for campus housing and my apartment is really nice. I think it is much better to look for your own place than try NYC school housing irrespective of what institution you attend.

4 College Junior

Academics: The part-time program is great for people who work during the day.

5 College Junior

Academics: I am certain that my school has a great academic program.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: It is New York City, housing is of campus really depends on the borough and the needs.

5 College Junior

Academics: NYLS has a great legal program. It teaches both the reasoning and actual lawyering skills. It is an excellent school.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Strictness: The academic department is very strict with plagiarism. In my opinion, is a good thing they are very rigid on this. Nobody has the right to stole other's ideas. Also, this helps people to go deeply into a topic and get their own conclusions.

4 Recent Alumnus

Transportation: NYLS is really close from the World Trade Center, so it's easy to get there by taking the PATH or the subway. Also, there is buses running all the time and because it's located in New York City, taxis are all over the place. Also, walk around the School is very interesting, because Tribeca is a fascinating area.
