Scholarships: Financial Aid is very easy unless you lose your scholarship, then you have to appeal it. I got mine back after writing an appeal.

Scholarships: It took multiple attempts to get in contact with the financial aid office. I always had questions, especially since I have a disability, I needed to hear about the limitations of money for the disability. However, sooner or later, the office got back to me and we received our answers. It takes some time, but they are helpful once you get them on the phone.

Scholarships: The grant covers half my tuition but the amount that I have to pay is still a lot. Also life in NYC is really expensive.

College Freshman

Scholarships: I wish there were more scholarship options available and also I wish the tuition was a more reasonable price.

Scholarships: My experience with getting financial aid at my school took a few times to get a set amount, but I'm happy with what I have received. My SAT scores and my high school grades helped me get the financial aid I have today. My high school grades were really good which made up for my SAT score las which were good, but only 100 points off for the higher scholarship which I received later on. I am receiving no help from FASFA so all the help I can get from the school and if I get any other scholarship will help pay for school. The only tip that I can give anyone is what my teachers told me to do and that was to call the school and say you would really like to attend the school and see if they can give any more scholarship money to you.
