4 College Sophomore

Majors: The admissions staff is great here. They made the process of applying extremely easy and did a lot of the work for me. I was a very qualified applicant so I didn't have any challenges and the process went extremely quickly (I applied, toured, interview and was accepted in about a month).

4 College Sophomore

Majors: The professors are great and make taking all of these difficult classes a little easier. Of course, being in a health related doctoral program is never easy but if it's something you want to do in life NYCC is a great place to pursue it.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: If you don't plan on leaving campus then you're fine but if you ever plan on leaving you should have a car here.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Not alot of partying goes on at NYCC. Too much studying needed.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Locally in Seneca Falls there really aren't that many places to eat however Seneca Falls is close to lots of other cities.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: The campus is extremely accepting of all minorities. There are clubs for LGBTQA, African American etc.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: NYCC has a great program. Of the chiropractic programs this is the most evidence based of them all. Great board scores and a curriculum that traditional medical schools would envy.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: We don't have greek life in a doctoral program. The only greek letters used are for honor societies.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Seneca Falls itself is small and there really nothing here but Geneva and Auburn are only 20 mins away and have decent amenities. Also, Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo are about 40-60 mins if you need a bigger city.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I'm pretty sure we do NOT have campus safety however the campus is small and I've never seen anyone outside of students on campus. The walk from lecture halls and/or the library to the parking lots is short (as long as you've parked wisely). Some of the walkways (particularly the one from the lib/anatomy building to the parking lot) are not well lit.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Currently I am unable to review the campus housing because I've never lived on campus or been inside the dorms.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: The campus is small so there aren't many computer labs but the one on campus is centrally located and has more than enough computers. The WiFi on campus is shifty and I usually don't have service however we do spend a lot of time in the basements for anatomy labs etc. Tech services is usually quick and helpful.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: The bar scene in Seneca Falls is not great and generally people don't spend a lot of time partying because it is a doctorate level college however going out with a good group of friends is always fun and the local bars provide an adequate venue for it. Also, Seneca Falls is close to Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The campus did it's best with what it was given, academic buildings are definitely the most impressive.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: As long as you are not going out of your way to cause trouble, you should be fine.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The school and community really focus on academics, which is the main reason why we are all there.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I felt as though there would be more scholarship opportunities to apply for, it seem as though most universities have more.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Students are very into their school work, and there is not much time for anything else.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I have never lived on campus, but heard it is enjoyable.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The campus and town both feel very safe.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: Computer labs are available and never full.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The fitness center is a little small to fit demands.

2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Small town, not much to do.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: It is just ok, not terrible but not great.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The workload is very intense, but professors and other faculty are more than willing to give help where it is needed.
