3 College Junior

Weather: Does not affect me !

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Maximum of four seasons as expected for any place in New England. Winters can be brutal at times.

3 College Student

Weather: nothing to complain about... its just cold

3 College Freshman

Weather: Well, it's the inner-city: Newark to be exact. New Jersey is a north-east state, so it feels like Florida in the summer, and Maine in the winter.

2 College Freshman

Weather: Frequent snowstorms this winter has caused numerous class cancellations. The spring semester calendar may need to be adjusted because of this.

NJIT students should not expect for Newark weather to reach above 75 F, except during early September and in late April or May. The temperature tends to hover between 50 and 70 F during a majority of the time school is in session. The temperature has been known to go to 80, even 90, and drop down as low as 20. These periods do not last long outside of December or January.

Students should expect a notable amount of cloudiness and rain. In addition, the wind can sometimes be quite biting. It is important that students bring clothing that protects them from such conditions.
