2 College Junior

Parking: Very expensive and not flexible !

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Just be wary of everyone trying to enter and leave the parking deck at once, it can take 10 to 20 tops minutes to accomplish anything.

5 College Freshman

Parking: Parking is excellent because there is plenty of spots.

2 College Senior

Parking: For a student that dorm a car is not needed because there are a plethora of public transportation sources close to the campus. For commuter students the parking is outrageous. We pay over $200 in parking and the nearest parking where you are most likely to find parking is just short of a mile away from campus with no shuttle service.

3 College Freshman

Parking: There are supposed to be a lot of parking lots but only two are open. One is a 7 level deck that never has any spots available and there is a 50 space gravel lot behind the athletic center but be careful walking there at night. Many muggings happen around that corner at night. You pay like $250 per semester for a parking pass that they don't even check unless you park in the deck.

Parking at NJIT is a school at which students find it is very easy to park. There is a parking structure designated for student use, and it has enough spaces for most—if not all—who wish to park there. If there is ever a situation in which there are no available spaces, students can park in spaces along nearby streets or, on occasion, in the faculty parking structure. Any student can park on campus.

Parking enforcement is somewhat strict. Generally, students with vehicles aren't too restricted, as there are those who violate minor rules all of the time without penalty, but things such as speeding, occupying a handicapped space without permit, and loitering in an obstructive manner, are all well-enforced.
