1 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food is terrible. I lost so much weight eatting it.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: Food truck and the dining hall at the place I tend to go to the most for the food is always satisfying to the point the merchants know me and already know what I would order in a daily basis.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: GDS has great variety and there is a pizzeria, a taco bell and a subway if students want even more dining choices.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: I've had the chance to eat in campus and id say that the food is good, especially mexican food!.

2 College Student

Campus Dining: It is unlimited, which means you can go in any time you want. This rocks. However, the cafeteria's hours are awful, ending at 9 most nights. The food is mediocre at best, usually worse. However, if you are creative, you can come up with decent, edible concoctions by mixing the items from different self-serve stations.

There is a vast array of dining options available for students at NJIT. The options span many different cuisines and are accessible at many different times. Students can dine at any period between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. The most common source of food is the Main Dining Hall in the Campus Center. This is a buffet-style dining hall where students can come eat at any point of the day. While there is a wide variety of food that changes from day to day, it sometimes lacks the quality that students look for.

While options are available for kosher, vegan, and gluten- or lactose-free diets, the majority of the food in the Main Dining Hall is not marked in accordance with these diets. Even many vegetable dishes must be questioned, as they are sometimes saturated with butter. The other dining areas have options that are better marked for those with special diets, yet the offerings are more expensive. They also contain less variety, as the menu at places like the Trattoria or Taco Bell does not change.
