College Junior

Campus Resources: There is no campus that I go to because everything is online

College Junior

Campus Resources: there is no computer lab that I go to because I have a computer and my classes are online

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am not getting any financial aid because I do not want any loans. I decided not to go to college when I graduated high school because I didn't know what I wanted to do and my parents didn't want loans or to lend me money. I got a job and started saving my money and then decided to go to school to better myself and my career. I would like a little bit of help for school because I have not been able to save any money for emergencies

4 College Junior

Career Services: I have not graduated yet, and I plan on continuing with my current job at a small bank as an assistant manager

Overall Experience: I would choose my school again because it is based online and they have all been very helpful.

Academic Flexibility: The only frustrastion I have had is I don't get many vacations or time off from school which is good but bad. I would like to be able to take a little bit longer time off in the summer rather then a 2 week break. But I want to get these classes done so I will suck it up and continue on

Academic Experience: I have had a great experience with New England Collage of Business and Finance. The work load can be a bit overwhelming sometimes but I manage. I can not wait to finally get my degree.

Academic Experience: Right now I am just trying to get a associates degree in business and science and I am taking all the required courses and some electives.

Online Courses: The only issue I have had is recently and it has to do with registration. I have only one choice right now and I have already taken the class. I hope my school can find other options for me

Student Body: I take online classes so its hard to say that I know who the classmates are. I have had communication through disscussion boards and every classmate has there own views and opinions and are nice.

Facilities: The school I attend is New England Collage of Business and Finance, and everything is online. All of the teachers and employees have been very thourough and helpful. I have not actually seen the facility in person but I know it is based in Boston, MA and I have 5 more classes left. I love the flexibility and the availability of online classes. I work full time during the day and it makes it hard for me to take actual in class course.

Tuition & Financial Aid: They help and follow up.

Academic Flexibility: Taking online courses has allowed me to have as flexible a schedule as possible around the demands of work and family. And when circumstances arise where accommodations are needed, the professors are always willing to make reasonable ones.

Student Body: As we only interact through the school's online classrooms (and very occasionally via text for group assignments,) I cannot comment too much on the student body. However, my various classmates have always struck me as very professional and dedicated to their educations, especially as most worked full-time and were working to further their education around their jobs and families.

Overall Experience: I've been extremely happy with my experience at NECB. I attended one other online university before transferring and I wouldn't switch back for any reason.

Facilities: I attend school online so I have never seen the actual campus nor utilized the on-campus facilities.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My school's registrar, who deals with my veteran's tuition benefits, and the financial aid/student account departments are always helpful and willing to help. They've been invaluable in helping me manage the financing of my education and are always willing to point me towards additional resources when necessary.

Campus Resources: As I attend an online university, I do not have most of these facilities available. The exception would be the online library, which is excellent.

Campus Resources: I do not utilize a campus computer network; as an online student I use my own home network to access my classes.

Academic Experience: Overall, NECB has an excellent curriculum for my accounting major. There's a good mix of accounting specific and general business courses available as both core requirements and elective courses.

Academic Experience: The professors I've had for class have been knowledgeable and helpful throughout the classes and have always been willing to take extra time to help a student in need of it. Registration is, in my experience, easily accomplished online and in the rare event of a glitch, the academic advisers are always willing to register you for the class manually on their end.

Career Services: I'm enrolling in my first post-grad course now so I can't comment on the services at that level yet, other than the enrollment. As for those services, I've had nothing but helpful and pleasant experiences with the staff there so far.

Online Courses: While online courses do make it harder to interact with classmates when it comes to group projects or discussions, I find that I prefer them for the flexibility of being able to sign into class when I can (i.e. after the children are in bed) and eliminates the concern of shifting class times every term. I can arrange my work around my family's schedule without having to worry about getting to campus at a certain time or missing a lecture.

NECB's workload has always been very reasonable, especially considering the fact that the courses are eight weeks long as opposed to the typical fifteen weeks for an on-campus course. In my experience, my advisers, professors and the college staff have been far more understanding of the challenges faced by a student with a family to care for than those at the typical college. Also, they actually focus on the actual student rather than just treating them like a body in the seat. Overall, I far prefer my online courses to my experiences in a typical college environment.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is a bit high for the length of the courses. Paid about the same for two less weeks.

Online Courses: I attended Northeastern University online and the classes were 6 weeks. NECB is 8 weeks and all the information could be composed into 6 weeks.
