4 College Student

Scholarships: Financial aid advisors are helpful. Make sure you get everything in on time!

4 College Student

Facilities: The teachers and Staff are great the only thing is I wish we had more activites to be involved in. Such as sports, music etc.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: All of the students I have come into contact with have been great. We are all there for the same thing.

1 College Sophomore

Facilities: In definate need of a major make over. The school has been around for a long time (early 1900's). It looks like the 1970's, the last time anything has been done to it.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: If you are looking for a school with an evidence based practice and heavy science background for the Doctor of Chiropractic, this is the place to be.

3 College Junior

Facilities: We are Part of SPC college and a cvery small branch campus in FL from our main school in Lombard. We have access to anything that SPC has but we are still new and they are working to improve regularly!

5 College Junior

Majors: National is a top notch school and If you qualify the process is very smooth

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: I am unaware of any drug problems on our campus. We are all here to become Natural medicine doctors It just doesnt go with our belief system

College Junior

Greek Life: We are a Small Branch Campus in FL and dont currently have a Greek Life.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The campus is very small (only 9 building total). A lot of the facilities are older and are in the process of being updated. The campus would definitely benefit from having a student center that had some sort of food and seating area for students to use during lunch or breaks between classes. The library is small, but functional, with approximately 10 group study rooms, open tables and private study areas. There is a workout area that the students can use as well as a gym, but both are very out of date.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: The parking on campus is pretty much a nonissue. There are 4 separate lots that off campus students can park in and it is very rare that they are full. Permits are fairly inexpensive ($12 for the year last time I think) and I have never heard of anyone receiving a ticket or fine.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe at the campus. It is located in safe suburb that has very little crime.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have enjoyed NUHS so far. The class size is fairly small so I am able to get to know my classmates. Be prepared for studying the majority of the time. It is hard work but I know it will be worth it in the end.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Housing in Lombard – It was a little difficult to find available housing. What is available is fairly expensive unless you are able to find a roommate.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: Parking is pretty good. The cost of a permit is cheap and spots can easily be found. It is not a far walk from the parking lot to classroom buildings

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Since i have class at night, not getting out of class until 10:00-10:30 PM, I tend to have to eat after class. I find that although there are a lot of restaurants in the vicinity of the campus, not many of them are still open. Mainly just fast food restaurants are open.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: Campus Conputers – Though I do not use them on a daily basis, I believe the computers on campus to be well maintained and very useful to other students.

2 College Freshman

Athletics: There are some get together activities on campus, but as a whole not very impressive. There is no competition against other schools. The biggest attractions are soccer, basketball and volleyball.

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Friendly All Around – The school is so small that you will eventually get to know the faces of everyone. The people in your class will become your close friends. Everyone is friendly and there are many opportunities to socialize.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Great Variety – There is many places to eat along Roosevelt road. Variety includes: pizza, pitas, gyros, burgers, many sit down restaurants and plenty of sports bars.
