Online Courses: I have not taken an online course at Napa Valley College.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process is really easy with the help of a counselor. I receive free tuition, which is good, but I do not receive any more financial help from them. The financial aid office is really helpful, friendly, and they have a lot of experience with the FASFA. Getting financial aid at Napa Valley College is difficult if both of your parents work good jobs, but other than that you most likely will get financial aid.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid is a quick and easy process. The school provides a substantial amount of tuition to pay for my classes. The professors here are well worth more than what I've paid for. I feel like most of them are university level professors by the amount of knowledge they have and the passion for their subjects. Most of the faculty are very friendly.

Overall Experience: Despite the changes I would like to happen in my school, I've had a memorable time here. I can never forget how friendly most people are in this campus from the students to professors. One of the greatest experiences I've had was in the Performing Arts Center. They were a huge help for me, regardless of my major, and they were like a second family. The relaxing environment here makes studying a breeze, and so are the tutoring services and student instructional aids. I would choose to do it all over again.

Academic Experience: I am a Nursing Major, so there's a great amount of workload on my hands. The classes are very impacted so it's challenging to get into one that is required for my major. I haven't had the full experience of being in the Nursing program, because I'm still completing my prerequisites and general education requirements. So far, I've enjoyed it because I have wonderful professors. There's not a lot of internships available on campus.

Academic Experience: As mentioned before, I think the academics are great. I have had wonderful professors so far who are very passionate of their work and are caring towards their students' success. Class registration is a hassle, however, if your priority is low because it's difficult to get the classes you need. As a Nursing major, I am required to take a lot of biology classes. Before it was my time to register, the biology classes I need are filled already and I am unable to register or even crash the course.

Academic Flexibility: I am fortunate to have a wonderful counselor who has been a great guidance in my educational career. Transferring units from another community college was quick and easy. I don't have major frustrations when signing up for classes. The only one I have is everything's based on priority. As I was starting out in this college, it was difficult getting classes I needed because they were filled before I had the chance to register.

Facilities: What sets the facilities in my school apart from at least nearby community colleges, is the new buildings. For me, it gives more of a motivational atmosphere for studying. Most of the professors are very passionate of what they teach and are caring towards the success of their students. The science and math departments has helped me tons with the extra aid they provide in tutoring centers and MESA/HSI Stem buildings. I especially love the Performing Arts Center. It's filled with many talents, an amazing faculty, and plenty of resources.

Student Body: My school has a very diverse set of students ethnically, sexually, and economically. There's a large acceptance to every type of individual or group in classrooms. One of the very first classes I took on campus celebrated American Diversity, and I see a lot of my classes do the same regardless of the course.

Campus Resources: The library is really great. The library facility is fairly new so everything is up to date. They offer workshops for student successes and plenty of resources for the students. The student center is a very warm and inviting place because of the Associated Students here. They host a handful of student activities on campus, and it's gradually increasing. There's plenty of clubs and everyone has the opportunity to start one.

Campus Resources: There's plenty of computers accessible for everyone. However, I have a personal laptop I bring around with me on campus and there's only designated areas where wireless connection is available. And sometimes, like the library, has limited access to it which makes it difficult because right when you're in the middle of a research the connection stops and you would have to move to another place with wireless connection.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not fully experienced the Career Services here nor have I entered the center.

Online Courses: The online classes at Napa Valley College is okay. One professor I took was excellent and straightforward. The class was a lot of work but I've learned a lot. However, the second time I took an online class for another subject, the teacher lacked communication, therefore the students lacked the motivation to do anything. It was very unorganized, many dropped the class, and I ended up with a less than average grade. Due dates always changed for this professor and I felt that she was too permissive with some students.

3 College Senior

Student Body: It has a great amount of diversity, literally every ethnicity could be found here. But I don't think everyone takes school here seriously, a lot of people are still stuck in high school.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: I've never tried connecting to the wifi but technology is very accessible there

College Senior

Career Services: I haven't graduated yet and I haven't really looked into that

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I've never had problems with teachers and flexibility because I always got my things done.

4 College Junior
