3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Professors at Mt. Hood are great, they all have a genuine interest in their students and what they teach. The workload is rough but not unbearable, and the registration process is easy and convenient.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The student body at Mt. Hood is what you would expect from a community college, there is a lot of diversity and most people simply go to their classes and go home, not much interaction.

3 College Junior

Student Body: People are their to just learn and go home. You don't exactly make life time friends there

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I tried to switch out of my writing 121 class a day after classes had started and they said they couldn't do it because they learn so much after the first day of class. This is understandable but they need better flexibility

Facilities: Oregon is a beautiful place which makes this campus beautiful. Parking is always scarce and sometimes you end up having to walk a mile just to get to your one class.

4 College Junior

Career Services: I like the advisors because they seem to actually care about what you have to say. We don't have very many job opportunities that go around what certain people want to become or do.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The resources we have, from help to computers is good but our school has so many students and not enough computers.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Like I said, not enough computers for the amount of students that we have. The printing process isn't the best either. We have to have a USB them put it on their, wait in line for a long time, then pay our fee for printing.

Overall Experience: I only give it a low score because they need to pick their professors better. I do like most of the staff their especially the advisors because the one I went to seemed like he genuinely wanted to find the best schedule that would work with me. But on the other hand I have a teacher currently who doesn't care about her students at all, we don't ever learn anything, she doesn't tell us when things are due, and is always complaining about her own personal life.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not yet experienced much.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Scheduling isn't the hardest thing. I've learned to prioritize school so my job will work around it. If it doesn't then I prefer to go to school with what I have.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: I guess im not too much involved so i dont see much that goes on. Im usually just in class then straight home. I see that with many students as well.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: I feel that everyone is here for "business." It's all about education so it seems as if not much other things matters. I see few posters here and there but nothing that is eye catching.

Online Courses: Considering my first online course, it was an okay experience. I expected better. Its just hard to catch your professor at a good time, or focus. It is especially difficult if youre more of a "hands on" or "visual" learner. The work is understandable. Another thing is that youll never see who your peers are if you don't learn to acknowledge them on your own time.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel like the schools tuition is a little high. After Financial Aid helps pay my classes, i barely have enough to help afford books. Im new to school here and i find it a little hard to understand how financial aid works here. My only tip for getting financial aid at my school is to stay focus in your class and do well. Financial aid is very strict, which is a PLUS! :)

Overall Experience: I'm really glad I came to tour my campus and that I chose this school. My overall experience has been great.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: I like going in to class because I like seeing the diversity in our ages and ethnic. We all bring something different which is great.

Academic Experience: Administration office professional:

I really like the program a lot of the classes are computer related. So I'm taking a lot of Microsoft classes, administration, keyboarding, math ect. I really like the classes I have taken so far and I feel like I'm learn so much.

Academic Experience: Before registering for college I was very hesitant because I didn't know what I was doing. But the online application was so easy to fill out and on choosing a program of study was very helpful too because I was able to see what interested me. I soon contacted my future adviser and she was very helpful on how I should start my first term.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I haven't used the career center personally, but I've heard that they are really helpful. I probably will use it later on.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I've honestly had a good experience registering for classes, talking with financial aid, communicating with my professors and my adviser.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: With all the computer labs you can for sure use a computer and and the printing is pretty simple. The campus also has different locations for printing and you could print professional flyers or posters.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Most of my work needs to be done with a computer and I love how the computer lab and library are open during the weekend. I could either go to the main campus or go to the 2nd location.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I really like how the online courses work, it's easy to communicate with the professor and the students. If I have any question we can just email each other which is great.

3 College Student

Facilities: I haven't had the chance to really "dig in" yet.
