3 College Sophomore

Student Body: I guess im not too much involved so i dont see much that goes on. Im usually just in class then straight home. I see that with many students as well.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: I feel that everyone is here for "business." It's all about education so it seems as if not much other things matters. I see few posters here and there but nothing that is eye catching.

Online Courses: Considering my first online course, it was an okay experience. I expected better. Its just hard to catch your professor at a good time, or focus. It is especially difficult if youre more of a "hands on" or "visual" learner. The work is understandable. Another thing is that youll never see who your peers are if you don't learn to acknowledge them on your own time.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel like the schools tuition is a little high. After Financial Aid helps pay my classes, i barely have enough to help afford books. Im new to school here and i find it a little hard to understand how financial aid works here. My only tip for getting financial aid at my school is to stay focus in your class and do well. Financial aid is very strict, which is a PLUS! :)

Overall Experience: I'm really glad I came to tour my campus and that I chose this school. My overall experience has been great.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: I like going in to class because I like seeing the diversity in our ages and ethnic. We all bring something different which is great.

Academic Experience: Administration office professional:

I really like the program a lot of the classes are computer related. So I'm taking a lot of Microsoft classes, administration, keyboarding, math ect. I really like the classes I have taken so far and I feel like I'm learn so much.

Academic Experience: Before registering for college I was very hesitant because I didn't know what I was doing. But the online application was so easy to fill out and on choosing a program of study was very helpful too because I was able to see what interested me. I soon contacted my future adviser and she was very helpful on how I should start my first term.

Career Services: I haven't used the career center personally, but I've heard that they are really helpful. I probably will use it later on.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I've honestly had a good experience registering for classes, talking with financial aid, communicating with my professors and my adviser.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: With all the computer labs you can for sure use a computer and and the printing is pretty simple. The campus also has different locations for printing and you could print professional flyers or posters.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Most of my work needs to be done with a computer and I love how the computer lab and library are open during the weekend. I could either go to the main campus or go to the 2nd location.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I really like how the online courses work, it's easy to communicate with the professor and the students. If I have any question we can just email each other which is great.

3 College Student

Facilities: I haven't had the chance to really "dig in" yet.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: I am still completing the pre requisites to my major.

My workload isn't too bad yet, but I assume once I start taking A & P (anatomy and physiology) my workload will be significantly harder.

The current curriculum is not so bad, I remember most of the stuff from high school.

The facilities are beautiful and quite spacious for a community college.

I have not looked into internship/job opportunities yet because I am working while going to school.

Academic Experience: The woman teaching my Algebra class shows a true and sincere interest in her students.

She is very helpful and is willing to work with you when it comes to your grade.

She wants all of us to come out on top and it shows.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I like the athletics and everything that comes with being an athlete, but I can't wait to get out of there and go to my dream school!

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: MHCC doesn't seem too focused on majors, its more focused on getting all the basic classes out of the way.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Everyone that helped me along the way of registering for classes were very nice and helpful. The professors have been extremely nice and caring, which is the total opposite at Oregon State.

2 College Junior

Career Services: Nothing really.. Since it's a community college almost everyone leaves after two years.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The gym and amenities for the athletes is great! I haven't been to the library yet because I just go home and study.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I haven't had to use any computers yet.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It has been great! I am a student-athlete so they are very flexible. They transferred all my credits from Oregon State so that was also great!

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's a community college so the prices of classes are amazing! Oregon State classes were more than twice as much as they are at MHCC.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Since it's a community college there are a lot of older students so its pretty diverse in that aspect. I am mostly hanging around the athletic area so I'm only really associating with athletes. I have only been attending MHCC for three weeks though so I don't have a great grasp on the student body yet. I was perviously at Oregon State University but it was too expensive for me to continue and I was extremely unhappy there.
