4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Whole new aspect for me never being around the medical field. I have learned more than I could have ever imagined. The nursing program has been a great experience for me . I worked in the coal industry for 13 years before being laid off. The curriculum has been challenging for me, but I have worked hard and plan on being finished in December 2014.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The school has so many things going on. They offer so many different activities for different programs of study , I am not sure about all of them. Something is going on all the time.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: At my college I can go either part time or full time in any of the programs. They allow this to ensure the success of all students. All of the programs have people a student can go to for extra help if needed. They professors are really intuned with the students and all have experience with the subject they teach.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: With the class registration process a student can either go on the college website to enroll in the classes they need or they can have their advisors to help them with enrolling in classes.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The school really has an abundance of classes and programs to be offered ranging from nursing, to criminal justice, to end just a general studies certification. The campus is four large buildings all is close range with one another so parking at any of the parking lots around campus isn't a hassle to walk even to the furthest building. Meaning small size, the professors really get to have a one on one relationship with the student. I'm my experience at mountain empire my classes have never been above a 50 student count which is really nice. The only down fall is the class registration is online, in my 3rd semester now, I have the system pretty much figured out but for all new students I've known with myself included, have struggled majorly to get classes added and signed up for.
