Facilities: Depending on what campus you go yo, they all have their differences. Gardner campus is a bit older of a building. It has a great library and a decent cafeteria. The Devens campus I believe is an old army base. The outside reminds me of more of an office building, and it does not have a cafeteria.

Overall Experience: It isn't a bad school. If you can get into a class with a decent amount of people who actually want to learn, it can be the best experience.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The options the school has for classes is fairly decent. It can be a bit frustrating because they only offer certain classes at certain times, and don't always have enough options for times.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: It is a very welcoming school. The library is great as well as all of the staff working there.

Student Body: It is a very diverse school. Everyone is friendly, but it is very hit or miss with your classmates. I have had classes were everyone was at school because they wanted to be there, effort was put in by all and it was a fantastic learning environment. But at the same time i've also had classes where people were just wasting the time of the Professors and of the students who were there taking the class seriously.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition and all the fees can be a bit confusing, but the school has many different resources to help you figure out just what you need.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: They are great, practically everything is available for all students and all school related activities are supported and endorsed by teachers and faculty.

Academic Experience: The faculty and teachers at the school work quite well with each student and give them the help they deserve when needed. Although some teachers may have bitter attitudes, working hard will always get you to their good side and sometimes that means more than just a smile and a wink.

Academic Experience: I was able to explore enough to maintain a solid idea on what direction I would like to take my career in my first two years. Now that I am continuing at the same school, acquiring a second degree will be rather simple.

Online Courses: I took a film appreciation course online and it was very simple and easy, but I had the benefit of having the same teacher for an elective in mass media. I have heard quite a few horror stories from students taking online classes so my advice will be rather simple from experience; Don't take math if you can't teach yourself, Don't take more than two courses if you are still full time, and always keep it on point with completing online assignments. For me, the grading part was especially well and focusing on raising my grade was worth the work in the end.

Student Body: Because it is a community college, the student community has it's "ups and downs" but overall is not intimidating but quite welcoming. When I had first begun attending the school I was only sixteen and moving from 10th grade to freshman year of college was a big difference yet the transformation was not that difficult. I believe that if your are friendly and open to understanding how and why different people are the way they are, attending this school is not a social hassle at all.

Overall Experience: By pursuing a more basic degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, I was really able to explore all that the school had to offer and found out what interests will really stick with me. Many of the classes use some hands on work which is very great. For example, my horticulture science course allowed me to gain the knowledge to do some of the complex duties I currently have working in my areas larges greenhouse. I sort of am choosing it over again because I am furthering my educational and workforce career by pursuing a second degree.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Followed through quite well and easy for me as I have already earned a degree from the school. The classes are not overwhelming and simple time management skills will move things along with ease.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Although attending full time adds up, it will at any school. In comparison, students are saving a boat load of money by attending courses here and transferring rather than jumping into a four-year school. The school is great at working out issues like changing majors and transferring credits as well.

Career Services: I love how the school will re-accept you for a second degree after you graduate or even if you must take a break in one's education. I did a dual enrollment program offered by the Talent Search department and have now graduated with an Associates in the time I would have graduated High School. Although I was given many great opportunities to move forward, I have made the decision to use MWCC to further my experience and knowledge in the field of Natural Resources for I am wishing to pursue a degree in Environmental Sciences. The school offers great help in the academic support center and has been able to help reveal to me which education and career path I will truly desire.
