Scholarships: I thought that I would get more financial aid because my grades and GPA are pretty good but I guess it wasn't good enough to get better financial aid. On the school website they show that they have scholarship but in truth they don't have it. I was really mad that they put it on their website as if you can apply for it but when I went to the financial office to ask about it they just told me that I can't apply for it or they don't have application for it and to ask someone else.

Transportation: The shuttles can sometimes be late depending on which driver or the traffic but for the most part it's pretty good. I think that sometimes the shuttle can be bigger.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: We have shuttle buses that takes us to Newton Centre, Star market, and Legacy Place (very big shopping plaza). In newton centre they have a T-station that you can take to go into Boston.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Since buildings are close to each other the weather doesn't really affect my campus experience.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: We don't have any greek life but we have LLC which is living learning communities. they have LLC for design suits, Women in science, and LGBTQ.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I lucked out on my dorm. It's a newly renovated building. The rooms are spacious and you can easily socialize with people easily. The housing process can be confusing but they have a video to explain how to do it so it's not hard if you watch the video.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: We have an English Language System, ELS, it's for students from other countries to come and study here. I think it very good because its a great way to meet people from other countries. We're very accepting of any sexual orientation.

Computers: They have labs in the library and in some buildings but not all. The WiFi can be really bad sometimes but it's probably because everyone now has a wireless computers so the WiFi can get jammed sometimes. This college has free printing both color and black/white. It's very good because it can get very expensive for paper and ink cost.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There's a shuttle bus from College to Newton Centre. You can take the T train into Boston easily. they have many different restaurants that you can go to. Some places can be expensive depending on what type of food you want. there are about 3 convenience store in newton centre so it's very easy to get stuff that you need and they all have a pharmacy.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: It was very easy. It's just like applying to any other college. There was no abnormal application process.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: I really love my major, Fashion Design. I was a psychology major before I transferred into mount ida college, I thought that I would like psychology but I really can't see myself being a psychologist or social worker but I love to sew so I transferred. The professors challenges you in a way that also helps you to grow in your field. We all had to make 2-3 dresses to be put into judging to see if our outfits would be int he school fashion show. 2 out of 3 of my dresses got in. I really learned so much from just my first year and am very proud of myself.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I'm majoring in Fashion Design and I really love how it's very hands on. The professors are very helpful because they really care about your learning, they want us to succeed, and they are very nurturing in a sense of helping us with things that we don't understand and need help with. The professors are always available to us if we ever needed their help if not there are always other professors that we can go see for help.

Campus Strictness: I haven't done anything that would break the school policies but friends who have said that administrators takes it very seriously

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: I don't really know if someone is taking drugs but on thursdays you can totally tell that there are people drinking because it can be very loud, with people shouting, etc.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: On the campus I think that there's enough parking space but some parking spots are so far away from the dorms and buildings.

Health & Safety: The nurse there is nice but barely know's what she seems to be talking about and the actual doctor is only on campus once a week which is very inconvenient.

Greek Life: There is no Greek life on this campus.

Parking: There are never enough spots and you sometimes have to park nowhere near your dorm.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: People usually just smoke, I haven't seen anyone do anything harder.

Weather: The weather is slightly bipolar. It will be sunny and seventy five one day and then the next it will be raining and thirty. The winters are dreadfully cold and you can't feel your face walking to class.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There is a lot of off campus dining available nearby. Taco Bell and McDonalds are right down the road and then there are multiple places in Newton Center where the food is good and inexpensive.
