3 College Freshman

Athletics: I do not participate in the sports at Morehead. I wrestled in high school, but no sports at Morehead!

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have not lived off campus, but I know others that have. I do not know if I could afford it or not?

Campus Strictness: The campus is a great place to live and go to school. They do not put a lot of pressure on you because they feel that this is a time for you to grow up and start being an adult. I mean that they do not babysit you, but they do expect you to be in class. They do take attendance and if you are not there it is counted against your grade. So in that regard they are strict, but it is only for our own good!!!

Majors: I really like the uniqueness of Morehead State University! It is located in KY on a beautiful campus and it gives a small town feel. The teachers and counselors are all very friendly and helpful which makes going to college a fun, enjoyable experience. They are there for you to answer your questions and help whenever needed.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I currently do not have an internship. I am planning on looking into it this year.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel very safe on Morehead State University Campus!

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are a few fast food restaurants and that is about it.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Being a nursing major, the workload is huge and the curriculum is very difficult. The facilities are nice and there are many job opportunities.

Local Atmosphere: There really isn't much to do around morehead besides go on hikes or go to the rec center on campus.

Weather: The weather is usually great but when it snows and its icy i feel that the people responsible for making sure that the sidewalks aren't slippery and stay that way could do a better job.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: Having a free campus shuttle is a plus and i think it makes it a lot easier on some students who have to walk extremely far from class to class

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The best dorm to live in would be Thompson hall. It has a great social atmosphere and very convenient for all classes.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drinking does not happen on campus. if people drink they do it off campus. Peer pressure is not a big issue here either.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life is not big on campus but its not small either. Greek students are viewed as somewhat snobby to non-greeks ar first because thats the stereotypical way anyone who was involved with greek life would react.

3 College Freshman

Computers: Computers at are school are very up to date with the latest software. We have bad wireless access.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: There is a lot of diversity on campus. There has never really been an issue with one ethnic group to another.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Off-campus dining is okay. I feel like the only places to eat are fast food restaurants and chain restaurants. Not many of the restaurants give student discounts and their costs are a little high.

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Theres not a lot of off-campus housing around and if you are from out of state it is more difficult to live in off-campus housing.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Student involvement is great when it comes to athletics but sometimes team performance could be a downfall. Our athletic facilities are very nice but our school lacks school spirit.

College Junior

Nightlife: Morehead is a quiet town with very little to do other than movies and dining out.

College Junior

Athletics: I do not participate in athletics nor do I attend varsity sports.

College Junior

Campus Housing: I live off-campus as a non-traditional student, so I cannot rate campus housing.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I live off-campus and commute forty-five minutes. I cannot say anything toward local off-campus housing.

3 College Junior

Diversity: There are numerous students of varying ethnicities.

Off-Campus Dining: Most places are fast food chains but there are a few good options that seem reasonable.
