4 College Senior

Academic Experience: They offer tutoring, professors always help during office hours, and registration is easy.

College Senior

Career Services: Moraine Valley is a community college and therefore does not after post-grad options.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: If I were to do things all over again, I would still choose Moraine Valley. Though some changes should be made.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: The class are great, though you sometimes have to cross the courtyard to get the next building of your next class.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Well its somewhat difficult, for needing to understand the class you take.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The class registration process can take a long while. There are tutoring available to all students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The cost of the tuition is cheaper than other colleges. Though my experience with the financial aid staff does get confusing. To get financial aid is to submit a FASFA and other documents that the financial staff need to see if you are eligible.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I have not taken a course that is limited to online. I take class that are in person with the professors.

College Freshman

Student Body: I have never taken the time to look into the student body.

Campus Resources: The computer labs are neat and easy to use. There is wireless access for the students and non-students.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: There are staff who are eager to help students. The libraries have a large collection of text books and reference books.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: The courtyard of the campus is big and spacious. There are a large variety of students that attend.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition for Moraine Valley Community College is reasonable. It is worth it there is many things that the college has the many don't. They added $8 more to every credit hour but I think it is worth it because now we have a fitness center. Financial aid office helps out a lot as well.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I cannot complain about the Tuition or have much of a say in it since I am still dependent on my parents. However, I was disappointed to find out I was denied financial aid because I "live out of the district area." It's not very fair to us attending from a distance.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: To be perfectly honest, I was very hesitant to attend Moraine Valley Community College. Not only was I feeling a lower self-esteem for ending up at a community college but I heard such negative things about it. Once I started attending, I realized there was nothing to worry about! I was just like every other student working on an education and the horrible things I had heard were completely biased. I love it and think the campus is very similar to a university!

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I have only taken one online course and it was over the summer. I was told to be careful with taking an online course when talking to an adviser because you have to constantly check for any updates and be alert. I actually enjoyed the online course experience. I took a Sociology course and felt connected with the other students and the instructor through a discussion board.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Im older than most of the students and have been accepted as a person here to get a higher education and would choose this school again if I had to do it all over again.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: lots of diversity and levels of acceptance no challenges everyone seems to know what they are there for and doing what they need to do

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I truly have no complaints
