Facilities: Everything is technology and they are very organized. They treat you as if they were a family member. I love my school and can't wait to start.

Overall Experience: I love my school even though I start in August they send letters in the mail to show they care.

Facilities: There isn't a great sense of pride within our student body. I wish that more people took pride in attending Montgomery County Community College so that we could all come together as one and have an enjoyable college experience!

Academic Flexibility: Some of the professors aren't that great especially in science and math

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I attended a hybrid course and this allowed me some flexibility and a good amount of access to the instructor as needed while completing my assignments

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: The reputation of the school speaks for itself and is largely the reason for choosing this institution

Campus Resources: The tutorial services and availability of computers for student usage is very good and has proven to be a great resource in completing and submitting assignments in a timely manner

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I recognize that it is not always easy to provide the very best in computer speeds due to the large demands placed upon them by the student population however, I have had experiences elsewhere that have paled by comparison. Again it does okay despite the large demand placed upon them by the student population

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition fees and expenses are reasonable compared to some other places I have investigated for school. However, like all higher education it is a financial strain to maintain despite the grants and loans. One of the selling points for this particular institution that I attend is that it is in good standing when it comes to transferring credits to another school because the education is of high caliber.

Overall Experience: I have been beyond pleased with my experience at MCCC. I highly reccomend it to many people, whether they have families and are looking to go back to school, or students right out of high school who don't want to graduate college with unthinkable amounts of debt. If I could go back and replay the last two years after I graduated, I wouldn't do anything differently. I have loved all my professors and the courses I have taken, and was thankful that it was all at a reasonable cost.

Facilities: While I don't think there are too many factors that set Montco apart from any other community college, I feel that the faculty goes above and beyond to make it an enjoyable and convenient experience for the student. I always felt that the advisors did an exceptional job of adjusting each individual's personal schedule.

Campus Resources: I was very pleased with all the resources offered at the Pottstown Campus. I have never been to the Central Campus in Blue Bell, however I have heard there is much to offer there as well. I was especially pleased with the availability of computer labs, the extensive library, and the advising center.

Campus Resources: I was very pleased with all the computer technology at Pottstown Campus. I felt as though there was always a surplus of computers available in one of the two computer labs for students, and I was always happy with the speed of them. Also, printers and copiers were always more than available to students within the computer labs and library. I found myself using them often, and was pleased with the convenience of having them there. I also was very impressed with the wifi network that is avaible at the campus. It is hassle free and always fast, and I never have an issue connecting, even on my phone!

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I did not take any online courses at my current community college, therefor I am unable to give an opinion on them.

College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I recieved no financial aid at my current college due to not qualifying, therefor I cannot give a valid opinion in regards to their procedure. However, I paid out of pocket for every semester on a deferred payment plan. I wish that the school offered some type of auto-deduct system from my accounts, which was not an option whatsoever. I had to make sure that I submitted my payment by a certain time every month, where I was required to manually enter my credit card info every single time. I felt this was inconvenient and that it would have been more efficient for them to have all this info on file, rather then having to re-enter it every month. If I missed a payment even by a day, this was also an inconvenience because I wasn't able to enter my information on the virtual payment portal, but rather had to go into the financial office and give all my information there. This was an inconvenience on several occasions.

Academic Flexibility: My school experience at MCCC has been very convenient in relation to my schedule. When I would schedule my classes, I would tell the advisor the days which I was available, and they would schedule my classes on those days only. Transferring credits was also an easy task which was done efficiently and quickly. I would fill out a short form in regards to where I wanted my transcripts sent, and the school's administration would have them sent to my potential school within a week or so.

Student Body: There is a wide range of diversity at Montgomery County Community College. This can be a good thing and a bad thing also. There is really no sense of 'community' or 'campus life' as it is a community college. There are areas to get involved, but not nearly as many as there would be at a university. The fact that there are no dorms and everyone commutes really creates a division between most students, and you wouldn't attend this school expecting to make friends. There are students of many ages, ranging from those still in high school for dual enrollment, and people in their fifties looking to earn a degree. This is something I always enjoyed about the college.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not yet graduated from my school as I am transferring to a nursing school to complete my degree. Therefore I can not really comment on the above topics.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Being a nursing student at Montco is a good experience with many opportunities for classes. As a transfer student I have been able to complete my prerequisites before nursing school, and I have been happy with all my science professors. Several class times on several different days are offered, which provides flexibility and gives students with jobs the opportunity to study and schedule classes according to their schedule. MCCC makes resources pertaining to nursing directly available.
