3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Since it is cold in Bozeman the dress is about the same for guys and girls; jeans with a short or long sleeve shirt with a coat and maybe a hat and gloves. there are plenty of cute girls here just more focused on grades.

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: The school has tons of different cliques and lots of extra curricular activity available. Everyone is nice and the school as a whole is flexible to everyone's individual interests and hobbies.

With a motto like "Mountains and Minds," a school is bound to attract a lot of outdoorsy students. This means guys and girls will have healthy, fit physiques and be very laid-back. The typical MSU guy is scruffy and not too focused on current fashions. He prefers Carharts to Sevens and has probably never set foot in Abercrombie & Fitch. The majority of his attractiveness stems from his carefree attitude and his knowledge about all things in nature: skiing, backpacking, fishing, and rock climbing. For those girls out there who want someone who changes his clothes daily, never fear. There are still a few men out there (mainly frat boys) who choose the clean-cut, all-American look. Their idea of the perfect girl is usually the scantily-clad partier, rather than the hardcore-mountain-climbing chick.

The girls on campus vary greatly. Some are content wearing sweats to class every day, while others must spend at least two hours applying makeup and coaxing their hair to curl in just the right way. All are pretty friendly, however, and most won't completely crush a nice guy's hopes of finding a date (or just someone to hook up with). The level of attractiveness is high at MSU for those who don't mind a bit of unkemptness in exchange for a great body and lots of energy. Students from big cities may have a hard time adjusting to this, but once they do, they revel in the casual atmosphere that pervades both sexes.

Social Scene
MSU students are extremely friendly; they actually smile at strangers on campus instead of averting their eyes. Partying is a common pastime for most, but it almost always comes second to group skiing days.
Hookups or Relationships?
There is a mix of both on the campus, but most girls are in a relationship, some of which stemmed from a hookup.
Dress Code
MSU students like their blue jeans and hoodies. The few weeks of summer weather brings everyone out of their shells and gives them a chance to show off their physiques. Even then, however, the jeans and sweatshirts are usually traded for T-shirts and shorts. Two vitals for surviving the fashion scene: Chacos and Patagonia.
