Off-Campus Dining: Havre is a small town, so not too many places to eat. Lots of fast food places!

Campus Strictness: I think MSUN has a perfect balance of strictness!

Overall Experience: I do like the environment of our campus. I do not like the fact that it is such a hassle every semester for financial aid. I feel that most of the advisors are a joke. they don't really advise, or know critical stuff. they expect you to know that. which is ridiculous.

Nightlife: I really don't partake in parties. I am not a partier, but there are a lot of private bonfires, house parties, etc.

Weather: It is always windy. that is my big complaint. Not just a light wind, but wind that makes you look like medusa if you wear your hair down. being originally from the high-line, I am used to the winters and summers. -40 winters to 100+ summers.

Athletics: I honestly do not have the time to participate in athletics. I am pursuing my future in Nursing. But school spirit is strong, especially from the citizens

Off-Campus Housing: off campus housing is rough. there are a lot of "bad" neighborhoods. crappy apartments for high prices. there is no help through the school. the school is really irritating in a lot of areas because the specialists more often than not "don't know". Seriously.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: It is tough being a nursing major. not only are our schedules chaotic, and not organized, but it feels like the students are in a dark room trying to feel their way into the degree. there is no clear path when in the courses

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Alcohol is our main problem, being such a rural area doesn't give the college aged students much to do. there aren't any places just for those who are in between/

4 College Sophomore

Computers: the technology is good. the campus site often goes down, making it hard for the online courses to be worked on regularly. also, the hours of the school are ridiculous. the library is only open until 10pm and not open on Saturday. making it hard for students to study on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: except for in the nursing program, I haven't seen any strictness.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: would like to see more late night places. only place open past 1 is mcdonalds. I would rather go somewhere else

College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: I am not interested in little boys who think they are cool with their big diesel pickups and live off mommy and daddy's money... to be honest. I want a man

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I do not know of any internships in the field that I am going into, I haven't reached that point yet/

2 College Sophomore

Majors: I am extremely excited to become a nurse. it is the process of getting there that is the problem. there is barely any organization within the professors and their courses, making an already stressful degree extremely stressful. you would think that after however many years as a nursing professor you would have "your poop in a group"

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: No issures that I know of

College Sophomore

Transportation: we do not have any public transportation.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: There are a lot of students that are transferred in. they definitely stick out, but seem to be accepted.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There's really nothing to protect against so defensive/preventative protocols are not really necessary.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: The student center is good for those that wish to use it but you could go a whole semester without hanging out there.

2 College Freshman

Weather: It was VERY hot the first few weeks of classes and the dorm does not have A/C. Now it is VERY cold. They dorms have heaters but walking to class is a pain.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Aberdeen is a smaller town, so it would be unreasonable to expect a wide variety of food options.

2 College Freshman

Computers: The availability of computers and wireless network is okay, but the network is very bad. The service this whole semester has been spotty and slow. There are times of day when it is okay, but when it gets bad, it's BAD.

3 College Freshman

Parking: The fee is reasonable, however, the lots for the dorms could be larger. Often there are no spots and students are forced to park in another lot, father from campus. This is very inconvenient when temperatures are below freezing and the wind is howling.

4 College Freshman

Academics: The academics are good. The professors are intelligent and interested in the topics they teach as well as the well being and success of their students.
