Athletics: School spirit was not a big part of school.

Campus Dining: I believe it to be one of the best on campus dining halls I have ever been too.

Scholarships: The FAFSA program is pretty much standardized and if you can get in contact early with the financial aid office (just go in do not try calling) it is pretty easy to figure out.

Majors: The Biology program was great.

Recent Alumnus

Majors: I did not have any internships

Nightlife: It is a small town atmosphere (country music) not like the clubs or anything you'll find in bigger cities.

Facilities: I played almost every inter mural sport and had a blast.

Local Atmosphere: The local atmosphere is ok if you are looking around town. However, Montana has some of the best outdoor activities available in the world, and they are what makes your time in college an experience of a lifetime.

Guys & Girls: The women on campus are mostly athletes are they are very nice.

Greek Life: Greek life is not great anywhere in Montana.

Off-Campus Housing: The houses are mostly older, but the re-modeled ones are very nice.

Off-Campus Dining: The SUB has excellent food, that most of us pay for already so off campus is not necessary. That being said, there is some amazing 'mom and pop' joints all over Montana

Academics: I believe the workload and curriculum were spot on. I was busy, but very much enjoyed my classes.

Off-Campus Housing: Here in Billings the housing is much more affordable than most, however the public transportation is very limited. Billings is a very safe place to live so walking is not a real concern if you find something close enough to do so, however the winter here can be very cold so a vehicle is advised!

Facilities: MSU is a great campus! There is lots of soft green grass to sit down and read on, or if your up for a game of volley ball or some catch you don't have to look very far. If you like to hike the Rims are right off campus with plenty of room to go stretch your legs!

Diversity: I have found the MSU campus very accepting of those of a different background or sexual orientation. We have a LGBT community here that do all sorts of fun activities and that are welcome to all who care to participate. I have had plenty of classmates from the middle eastern countries and have found it to be a wonderful experience to study along side them!

Off-Campus Dining: The dining options here in Billings are varied enough to keep one from getting bored. I personally like to go to the Golden Coral just because it is fast, easy, and affordable. I can also sit and study without feeling pressured to leave since it is a buffet. If you like seafood, oriental, steak houses, then your in luck and all within a short range of each other.

Academics: Maybe I'm a little over zealous about my time at school but I am considered a non-traditional student so I feel very lucky to just be able to attend and finally go after my dreams. The work load I feel is considerable but is very attainable if one can stay focused on ones goals. MSU Billings has access to free tutors and plenty of computer labs to get access to anything one would need for research. I have found the professors very attentive to the needs of their students and many times I have had a professor personally go over material that I did not understand. They also offer plenty of online courses which allows me to prioritize what classes I need to be "in class" for and which classes I feel I can attain a good level of understanding with just personal study and online tutoring.

Academics: MSU Billings offers a very large range of academics to choose from. The one thing that I find most enjoyable about MSU is the diversity of professors. My last accounting professor was from France. This allows me as a student to better understand the difference in laws that govern the accounting regulations across the world.

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: I love going to school and meeting the very diverse group of people that attend MSU billings. Billings is the largest city in Montana, with this said you will meet a wide variety of people here in town. We have cheerleaders and football players to farm girls and bucking bronc riders!

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I personally live off campus, but I've been to the dorms. They are spacious enough for what they're used for, but I definitely prefer off campus living.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The Billings community and the University provide a wide array of activities.

1 College Freshman

Greek Life: There's no Greek Life on campus!

1 College Freshman

Weather: It's SOOOO unpredictable. It can snow, rain, and be 60 degrees all in one day!

3 College Freshman

Majors: Resources like the Accounting Club and business Galas are held to introduce skills and potential new employees to potential employers. If I were to start all over again, I would've started as an accounting major.
