3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The courses are very helpful. however, they are hard to get into. the schedule might not work with all the courses you want to take. The class sizes fit about 40 students. There are a lot of variety in the courses. however, some needed prequisites are hard to get into. the professors are friendly, depending on the teacher you sign up for. My professor was very friendly and understanding. she was very interesting as well.

Overall Experience: since it's a community college, there are not a lot of job on campus. However there are lot of student-oriented jobs and a lot of student-student interaction so that the students can relate to each other's problems.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is based on the amount of credits you take each semester. It can get expensive but it's still cheaper than other universities. There are scholarships available for students, although not a lot.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: The online classes are interactive and it's a great way to learn something online. I'm not sure how to contact tech support when I'm having troubles.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The staff are very friendly and the teachers know your name. they try their best to guide you in the path you want by offering advice. they are understanding and available most of the times.

Academic Flexibility: There are multiple times for each class but the schedule is very hard to figure out and the classes are not very flexible. Since there are 2 campuses, it's hard to get to the classes on time because of the distance. it is also hard to get the general classes without being waitlisted

Academic Experience: The work load at MJC ranges dramatically upon which teacher one gets. I have taken classes from teachers that like to give a lot of work in the classes that I have taken here. The class registration is fairly decent in its paperless online method and seems to work well. The professors generally want students to succeed but I find them to be hard to approach on the most part. Considering, however, this is a good starter school to take general education for a university and to save money.

Academic Experience: I do not have any special facilities. I received some sort of plan from my counselor but I am not really sure how any of it works out. I know what classes I need to take but the major I signed up for does not have any special benefits in this college as far as I can tell. Other majors in this college do have special programs such as agriculture which has a big facility and I do believe that one can get a degree in teaching here but I am not entirely sure.

Student Body: The students body is very diverse considering it is a Junior College. The students range from parents to kids in high school like me who are taking classes. I have noticed a lot of immaturity in the classrooms that is very off putting. It would be great to see some geeky hardworking students but in a lot of cases this is not so. The majority of students that I have seen are not hard working sans the adults who are attending classes at the school.

Career Services: I really have no idea what the career services at this school are. I have attended a job fair that the school hosted but this is really all I see pertaining to career services.

Campus Resources: As a high school student taking college classes I would have to say that the resources of this college are fairly decent. The student center is helpful but making an appointment can be annoying. I am impressed with the counseling office though. I would have to say that many students are having trouble transferring and this seems quite frightening. However I appreciate the use of the track that I can use.

Academic Flexibility: It is not the greatest.

Facilities: Not sure how to join clubs if there are even some...

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Haven't really explored the campus yet, but it is nice and and has friendly staff!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Sometimes Magic Lab is full but it is understandable.

Facilities: I like my school because it is not big and it's very easy to get to know. They offer SI sessions for a few science classes like anatomy which helped me out a lot, free tutoring services, scholarship opportunities, and the staff are very helpful.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Very straight forward requirements of the student, once completed - aid is disbursed as needed.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: Being an associate's degree granting school, prospects are not that high - most likely need to transfer for a Bachelor's.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Its okay but they can change things that they know student do not like.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Its okay and i am transfering schools becasue i looked for it and really did not get help from the faculty.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is an easy process and things can be better.

3 College Junior

Facilities: I really do not know what seperates us from other schools.

3 College Junior

Student Body: I do not know about the student body presidents.
