4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am enjoying my experience at MACC so far. The instructors are great, and the location is convenient.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I have had no problem getting access to information and resources that I have needed.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Plenty of computers available to use. Good speed.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: I don't have much interaction outside the classroom with any of the other students.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: For the most part I am very happy with facilities. I do, however, wish they would enforce the smoke free campus. There are always dozens of smokers just outside the entrance, and I have to walk through a cloud of smoke whenever I arrive and leave. Often this results in an asthma attack.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: I am not at this point in my education yet, but am hopeful that it will be good.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: They are very helpful when I have had questions. They are quick with a response.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Right now I am still working on knocking out general education requirements. So far so good.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: So far I have been pleased with class offerings and the instructors.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I am really enjoying my experience at MACC. The instructors are awesome.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I have really enjoyed my academic journey and am thankful for the great instructors my school has

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I've only had one online class utilizing an instructor from another school. It was easy to navigate and the workload was reasonable

3 College Senior

Facilities: At my particular location, there is some difficulty regulating the temperature in the classrooms

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I have had positive experiences from all my instructors. Some are easier to get in touch with outside class than others. There are tutoring services available

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The workload in the accelerated ADN is intense but we all knew what we were getting into when we started classes. It will all be worth it in the end!

4 College Senior

Student Body: We have many different age groups attending classes here as well as those from various economic groups. Acceptance here is unconditional

4 College Senior

Career Services: I know there are job fairs and career help is available, but I haven't personally used them

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Sometimes, the computers are a bit slow but I've never had problems with my connection being dropped. Because we pay a fee for use, there are no limits on printing things for campus in one of the computer labs. Even better, is the fact that in my accelerated ADN program, we are provided a laptop for our virtual classes to use throughout the program

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: I'm in one of the outlying campuses so we have a student center no cafeteria. Our library is also pretty limited. There are not a huge amount of activities but that is probably ok since many of us are older students who are working and going to school and don't have a lot of extra time for activities

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I've had fair luck with Financial Aid on the main campus, but my local branch of the campus has always been very helpful

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I've had no problems with scheduling. I even had one class where I was probably going to be 10-15 min late every day due to what time I got off work being the same time the class started. The instructor was very accomodating

3 College Junior

Career Services: Honestly I haven't looked into this very much. I believe that I will look for a job near my hometown and so haven't looked into this. Though my school does have a Student Nursing Association that I am involved with and we look at job opportunities.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: The online classes that I have taken were pretty easy. I wish that the instructors had made them a bit more intense. I like to be challenged but the online classes really didn't challenge me.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The school only allows for me to get about 3200 a semester in students loans from them. But I am a commuter so driving back and forth can get pretty expensive especially since they don't want us working more than 16 hours a week in the nursing program.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Area 27 has got to be one of the better parts of our school. Area 27, so named because our school has been around since 1927 has cool green paint on the walls and a couple of tvs. Area 27 has two rooms one of which has computers lined around the walls with printers so you can work while you enjoy some of the cafeteria's food. There is also a nice patio where you can eat. Area 27 is one of the only places that everyone in the school can be and you not really notice who is there for what. Except for the students in the police academy they are always in uniform.
