Student Body: My school is mainly a hardworking school. People attending Mitchell all have the mindset that they want better lives. I have friends who work right as school gets out until 4 A.M. Just to help pay for school.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial Aid is a huge part for helping me achieve my goals. Although its not a lot of money its enough to get me through semesters. The process was simple and easy and only took 30 minutes. The only thing i can say is thank You FAFSA for helping me to a better career!

Career Services: Mitchell Technical Institute is a excellent place to attend college. It has a wonderful staff with a great student body.

Tuition & Financial Aid: worked good but for the middle class working that pay bills makes it hard for my parents and I to get loans sometimes

Campus Resources: The school is brand new and facilities are so awesome. Can not wait to complete my degree.

Campus Resources: The computer network at my school is wonderful because there is a tech support right inside the building so if I need help with my laptop they are right there for me. Also the printing network is amazing because there are about 30 printers located around the school and when you need to print you can print it and your document will be sent to all printers. When you want to collect your paper the student has to swipe their ID card and only their document will be printed. This helps cut down on plagiarism.

Academic Experience: I am a culinary arts major, and my classes are about what I thought that they were going to be. As of right now I have not had any problems with the class load and the facility is beautiful. There are plenty of job opportunities that are offered through the school.

Academic Experience: The professors are very involved with helping the students with the class schedules as well as making sure that they are helping each student as best they can. However sometimes they can come across as stern and demanding of the highest standards. But I know they only do that because they want the best out of us.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I like the fact that most of my classes are so hands on.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Teachers treat you like a person not just a number. They are very helpful when you need a little extra help.

Academic Experience: The teachers go above and beyond to help you succeed in your classes. They are willing to help you one on one when you need the extra help.
I've went in on days many times when I didn't have school got help from several different teachers.

Career Services: Upon graduation I am expecting to find a job in my field because MTI is known for its high placement rate.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Through a federal grant program, my tuition is paid for. I was able to receive financial aid as well. I have a lot of correspondence with the financial aid office as to make sure program meets its requirements. My advice is to be up front and honest. If you see an error or have a question, don't hesitate to ask.

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school as its cheaper than the other colleges in town. I am on a federal grant from a previous employer so I took advantage of the program and went back to school. I wouldn't have considered going back to school as I had a job and a (now) 9 month old son to care for.

Student Body: Our school consists of many different age groups and for the most part people stick to themselves or in a close knit group of friends. I think they need to work on getting the general classes more mixed.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are several computers to use in the campus center. I haven't had any problems with the network. It's always been running nice and fast. I am taking Information System Technology so I have my own computer. We are able to print on a printer a little ways from our class room.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: I haven't used the library or student center. I was able to get tutoring very easily. The students have access to a rec center uptown for free. I haven't been able to attend many of the campus activities yet. But they sound like alot of people did enjoy them.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm new to the financial aid process. I wished I had more help with it.

4 College Junior

Student Body: There are many classes that are hands on and is more like being on the job then in a classroom. the people who go there ages range from 18-30 it go to show that you can always go back to school.

Career Services: Job Fairs Good – Every few months they have different companies come in and talk about their company. This gives people an open view to where they can go from here.

5 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Great Lab – At most first year schools for electrical it's all book. There is a great lab that we work about once a week.

Overall Experience: Just What I Wanted – The reason this was the right choice is because, it's hands on and all on topic. This is the best way for me to get the experience I need.
