Academic Flexibility: i love all my classes and teachers except for 2 teachers and one class. my physics class is too demanding and my teacher doesnt write and pronounce words clearly. my spanish teacher is old and we never learn anything new. the class is great thanks to myspanishlab

Academic Experience: Overall there are teachers who are friendly and very worth while, but just like every school theres some who dont know how to teach very well

Student Body: Very polite and respectable people. unlike students of a high school

Student Body: The student body at Mitchell seems to quietly go about their day and does not seem to take a lot of pride in the school. Although they are happy to be at school, it is nothing like a university or high school but more of a transitioning point that people are ready to hurry through. Everyone is friendly and seems to be willing to come to class and learn but that is the extent of pride that students take in the school which can sometimes make the energy a little low on campus.

Online Courses: I am currently enrolled in three online courses and they are very helpful in furthering my education thus far. I took an online Spanish class earlier this year and did not have a very good experience with it. Although I did make an A in the class, I felt the instructor was hard to contact in a time of need and that the explanation and accessibility of grades was incredibly vague.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education that I receive from Mitchell will be worth the work that I am putting into my schooling. Although it can be very difficult to grt the money to pay for my education through my part-time job, in the end it will all be worth the hard work and dedication. The teachers are always there for me when I have any questions and I feel that Mitchell is committed to making sure their students receive a quality education.

Academic Flexibility: I attended this school because it was convenient and near home, however the school itself is not bad. The teachers are more concentrated on the students since class size is not an issue. Classes are not necessarily flexible, but teachers are and that helps alot.

3 Recent Alumnus

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education is alright, although I do think that at times I feel like I am not really learning anything. However, the teachers in general teach decently well. The campus is accessible, although at times some buildings are rather far, but still in walking distance. So turning in forms and such are not too complicated. The tuition isn't as expensive compared to some other colleges.

Campus Resources: There is a nice student center where students can meet between classes and play pool or just hang out. The library is a nice quiet place to sit and study.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: My school has a campus in my town in addition to the main campus which is about 30 miles away. This makes it very convienient to schedule some of my core classes closer to home and to prevent having to drive the 30 miles every single day.

3 College Junior

Student Body: There is a wide variety of races and ethnicities at my school. Most people come from working class families and the age range varies widely. Many of the younger students who are recent high school graduates plan to transfer to a four year college.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: It can be difficult to find space in the computer lab at times. It gets pretty crowded and there are not enough computers for all who need/want them. Printing is frustrating and then paying for all your prints. When you do get to a computer they work well and most people are very respectful around you.

Academic Experience: The classes were pretty good. Only one of my instructors I found to be outrageously demanding

4 College Senior

Student Body: The student body at MCC was a good mix of types from all backgrounds.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I enjoyed the classes that I took and the willingness of the proffesors to help out, but after I changed my major I ended up in 2 classes that I didn't actually need.

1 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: You have to have more than 30 credit hours to get the classes you need. There are not enough afternoon and night classes of the core classes you need to graduate.

1 College Junior

Academic Experience: Mitchell Community College cares more about the money then they care about the students. They hardly help out any students. There are a few teachers who truly care, but other than those few no one else cares.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: It is an unpradictable grab bag depending on which professors you are luck enough to get.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Most people are hardworking with full time jobs and families.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm a CIT major and most of the classes have not been useful, the professors, equipment and textbooks are outdated. There is only one great professors who made the entire time worth while and taught me everything about networking.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Some of the teachers are very good but then some clearly do not know what they are talking about and are just there as a stepping stone in there career.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: I am have a little part in the Student Government, so I know what they are asking for and doing. I think that the student body is doing a very exellent job in giving the needs and wants to the students. I am very happy to be a part of the Student Government.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Sometimes there is a miss comunication between the students and the teachers instructions. Some of the teachers like to be very technical and in todays world people are going to look at you like youi are a nut. Mitchell needs a vidoe link to better understand the teachers instructions or understanding the course.
