3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have not lived off campus yet, so I am unsure about just how helpful they are.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I was given the run around a lot, especially since I recently transferred.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: I recently transferred here and the school as far as academics goes is good but the campus life seems boring.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Its alright to live on campus. You get to meet new people.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: The computer lab is great. You can go in there and do your work and leisure things as well. The only bad thing now is we have to pay for printing.

2 College Freshman

Nightlife: Everyone here hardly go partying.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Food and dining options are great here.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Some of the dorms here are not spacious for two people. Its very small and hardly have any room to do walk by.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The teachers here are very helpful. Since there are not a lot of students in the class, the teachers teach their lessons like one on one.

4 College Freshman

Weather: The weather here is just a mixture. When it is raining, sunny, cold, hot, cool, etc. it does not effect our attitude.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: It was a hassle for because it was my first time dealing with it. Here are some tips:
1. Always work out your financial aid way ahead before you start school.
2. Ask the financial advisor questions.
3. Always get the financial advisors number just in case you have any other questions.
4. Have the financial advisor break down important information for you or have him/her to give you important paper information about your financial.

4 College Freshman

Computers: The computers are pretty decent. There is only one printer in the computer hall though.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: The campus are not that very strict. They just feel that everyone should respect the campus and others.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Mississippi University for Women is located close to the town area of Columbus, MS. The people here are nice and always interactive. There are many places that you can go to eat but not such a great mall here. Mississippi University for Women make you feel like you're at home with your family.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Small campus, You basically know everyone there unless it's someones guest.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: It's fairly easy to find an available computer. There are plenty of computer labs on campus.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: We don't have an off campus housing section. It's all dorms here unless you go out in town and try to find an apartment, which is no too bad because they are fairly low.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: The dinning areas around the school are okay. It's easy to find what you want.

1 College Sophomore

Weather: When it rains it floods bad on campus. Sometimes if the weather gets too bad, the fire alarm goes off.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: The people here are okay. I don't talk to most of them but they ones I do know are nice.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: I am in an academic school, so they don't let the Greeks have as many parties as the should.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food isn't the best. That's as nice as I can possibly be about it.

College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: I would say I can't rate this because the only thing the school is very strict on is the plagiarism issue. There is a small amount of control but as each year goes on, new rules are added.

1 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I am not eligible for financial aid because they said I already have a degree and my loans are maxed out.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My overall school experience is great because the people are friendly and the environment is great as well. I like that it's a quiet town and there is little to no crime in town. I will choose it again because it's close to home, I feel safe, and I'm able to learn everything I need to know for my degree.
