Off-Campus Housing: I live in a house off campus where I rent very reasonably and I compete with many other people who do the same. There is a very limited range as far as traditional college housing, but there are many opportunities to live in houses and other better living options.

Off-Campus Housing: The cost is much better than on-campus, but it is still pretty expensive unless you are in a position to live on the other side of town.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There are over a dozen apartment complexes around campus. Mississippi State provides transportation to every complex. Every complex is secure with their own security. Parking is relatively easy to find. The apartments are somewhat worn down; however, new complexes are built yearly.

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing is much cheaper than dorms. The school advertises many different off campus options. Unfortunately they can go quickly and you may not be able to get all the roommates you want.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have not been to off campus housing that much.
