5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Safety is really good on campus. I have not heard of any dangerous crimes being committed on campus. The area surrounding campus is a little shady but other than that, its safe.

Health & Safety: Mississippi State University has their own police force on campus that continuously roam campus. Cruisers can be spotted on a daily basis around campus as well as officers on bikes traveling along paths. For the parking lots, MSU have workers that will escort you to or from your vehicle so that you are not alone. They have a number that students may call for an officer to pick them up from the Sanderson, class, library, etc. and walk them back to their dorm. There are also emergency posts located all over campus (from one a student should be able to spot three) where if a student is in danger or needs emergency aid, they may press a button and police will arrive shortly. I feel extremely safe on campus, because as soon as something happens Maroon Alert will send a text and email to notify students of recent in formation.

Health & Safety: Bully Patrol helps in thinking that you're safe.

Health & Safety: We have months that are dedicated to people that deal with sexual assault, abuse, and suicidal issues. MSU tries their best to help all of their students.
