Health & Safety: Our campus is very safe. Campus safety is always doing there job and monitoring the campus. I feel safer here at school than what I did in high school. I look at our school as a big community and we all look our for each other.

Health & Safety: I feel more safe on campus, then in my own home. The nurse is always there to help when ive needed. The ra's and rd

are nice and always compasionate towards everyone in the building but also know how to lay down the law.

Health & Safety: Misericordia is known for its excellence in health sciences. It only makes sense for them to have a quality health center. Security can be seen around campus often, just walking around and making sure everything is okay. The campus is well-lit at night, and in areas where it can be darker, there are safety stations. These stations have buttons on them that can call security if you are feeling unsafe. They have a red button for emergencies that will contact someone and get you the help you need quickly.

Health & Safety: I resided in a dorm building for a year and a half at Misericordia University and cannot remember one time that I did not feel extremely safe. The staff is very helpful and personable and addresses any concerns immediately. Not only are they addressed, but are followed up on as well. There is very little campus crime, but what does occur is immediately addressed and resolved.

Feeling safe at Misericordia is like feeling safe in your own home. No student living on campus would say it any differently. It is so safe at Misericordia that students can walk around campus at 2 a.m. without a worry in the world. Campus Safety is on patrol all night, and because the campus is so small, officers must pass every building more than 50 times per night. Safety is definitely not an issue, and if students didn't feel safe for some reason, they could call the Campus Safety Escort Service to give them a ride back to their dorm or car. There really isn't an area on campus that isn't safe; however, the walk down to the townhouses on the edge of campus might make some feel uneasy due to the lack of lighting.

The Health Center is just as good as Campus Safety. Students can walk in with any concerns, and no appointment is needed. A nurse is always on duty during Health Center hours, and a doctor comes in for an hour every day to check out students. Staff in the Health Center is always friendly and willing to help students out with whatever they need.
