Overall Experience: My experience at Mira Costa College has been pleasant for the most part, most staff I talk to about my education are usually considerate and kind when I need help and it makes the process so much better. It's encouraging to have friendly campus staff members because it makes me feel more comfortable in asking for help and getting where I need to be at without feeling stressed or ignored.

Mira Costa is unique because they provide an intimate and personal experience for students trying to get an education, the majority of professors on this campus are definitely chosen by not only based off of their skill level, but their passion for education and ability to speak to their students as people, and not anything else.

Overall Experience: The class sizes are either perfect size or run small mainly because they have a certain student capacity, but at the beginning of the semester they have a lot of students, but many of them will drop by the second week because that's usually how students will do things since they're trying to figure out their classes.

Most professors I have had are greatly passionate and dedicated to the subject they are teaching, but there will always be those handful of teachers that stop caring about the students' well being, and are inconsiderate, but luckily there are more quality professors than unfavorable ones at this school. Each class has a different style with each professor, it is hard to say that every class is the same because every professor has a different method and tactic to teaching their students, and the best thing is to adapt and work with how they run things to successfully make it in their classes.

Academic Flexibility: I have had mostly positive experiences when it came to academic flexibility since the school has usually provided classes with well prepared professors and a variety of days and times for classes when enrollment begins. My only frustration depends on the professors I have dealt with, I have had incredibly unadaptable or inconsiderate teachers that have made their classes difficult to work with, financially and time-wise, but I have also had teachers that have gone above and beyond to accommodate their students and the consideration of their busy schedules too.

Academic Experience: As far as my experience has been at Mira Costa, I could say that for every one bad professor there is, there are four good ones. I can really say that there have been incredibly frustrating and hard to work with professors, but there are wonderfully adaptable and compassionate teachers on this campus as well that cancel out those bad apples.

As for the process of registering, enrolling, and attending classes, it all goes pretty smoothly after becoming accustomed to how Mira Costa's system works. Just keep note of registration and enrollment dates and you should not have any problems with the process. What I have noticed with workload at this campus is that it is more than other schools I have gone to, but I personally feel that it pushes me to do better with my classes, and it does become a trickle effect and influences students there to form study groups and go to tutoring sessions. It is a wonderful school and they do genuinely care about their students' education and financial needs.

Academic Experience: I might not have been utilizing the correct resources because even though I am in the process of finishing my Associates Degree, I have not been able to successfully locate any internships or job opportunities through Mira Costa. I have found internships outside of school, but I do wish I could have successfully found a job though this campus because it is difficult already trying to find any stable or available job opportunities.
