4 College Junior

Scholarships: My first year I didn't receive any financial aid which was upsetting, but I feel it's because I decided to attend Minot late. The last two years I have progressively received more aid. I recommend filling out the aid application in January to make sure it gets in, in time and also look into campus work studies.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Only offered me scholarships my freshman year, got nothing after my freshman year.

College Freshman

Scholarships: Military TA – I use military TA but I still have to pay for books out of pocket. That's what is getting expensive.

3 College Student

Scholarships: Talk to a Counselor – Talk to a counselor and especially other recipients. The financial aid office does not always tell you what you need to do and what the next step it. They didn't explain to me different forms of financial aid, nor what I would be eligible for.
