Campus Resources: There are many resources available through my campus. The student resource center and the library are great places to go for information or help with my studies. There are several different clubs available based on the programs. The commons is usually busy with different fundraisers and activities for the students.

Campus Resources: There are plenty of computers and labs for everyday use on campus. However, the computers are often very slow to load and freeze up easily.

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because I work full-time and needed to be able to continue to work while attending online classes.

Campus Resources: Just as every other school in Minnesota, MSB Rochester is riddled with poor computers. They are outddated and slow, freeze a lot, and are completely worthless. It takes forever just to log onto them. The Printers are fine, it's about what you would expect. However, don't bother with the computers at the school, you will just be wasting your time.

Campus Resources: I would say the best part of MSB Rochester, if you can overlook ALL of the other negative aspects about it (and trust me there are A LOT) is the small class sizes, the way teachers care, and the student body.

Online Courses: Honestly, the online classes for MSB are deplorable. Sometimes I wonder how these online teachers got a job in the first place. Many just don't have the applicable skills to teach or think that assigning tons of homework forces your students to learn a subject. There were things I was expecting in an online class that I didn't get. The reason for taking an online class in the FIRST PLACE is so you can just get your work done in one day for the week and not have to worry about it at all til next week.
Well, I wish you luck with that. All teachers force upon a ridiculous, dumb rule that you have to login three separate times in the week in order to achieve "perfect attendance". That is the s****iest, most terrible rule I have ever heard of. The point of an online class is for convenience so you can do it and forget it, not be forced to use what little free time you have to log on randomly throughout the week.
The teachers assign dumb assignments, and many of them want things from you that only an in-class teacher should be able to demand. Good luck trying to do a group project--it's impossible. It's mainly impossible because the type of students that online classes attract are idiots with no work ethic. You will get an e-deer-in-the-headlights look from the students if you ask them to do something for the group project. A lot of times, your fellow group mates in the project often times "OVERTHINK" what is asked about in the project. Then they waste valuable time asking the teacher and waiting for the teacher to respond. Before you know it, you are near a deadline and struggling to get a project in that you've done all by yourself without the help of your groupmates!
Overall, I'm trying to say avoid MSB Rochester's online classes as much as you possibly can!

Campus Resources: The library is a nice facility. It is staffed by a nice little old lady, whom I can't remember her name. She is very kind and very helpful, always willing to put down what she is doing to take time to help out students. However, the computers themselves in each lab are extremely outdated. They are old and need to be thrown out. They constantly freeze. Good luck trying to do any sort of work on the computers at MSB Rochester.

Campus activities are actually plentiful. There's almost always something going on in the lobby area of MSB Rochester. A lot of times they serve free food and what not for their students. Sometimes there's games and stuff in the lobby as well. This is a good part of MSB, to try desperately to make it feel "COOL".

The campus aesthetics are nothing to look at. It's pretty much a simplistic building with simple walls. The good thing about this is that you can find your way around the building easily.

Student Body: The only high point at Minnesota School of Business Rochester is the student body. Everyone else sucks, except for the students. The students there are some of the most rad, down to Earth people you will meet anywhere. They are very open to new people and aren't scared to invite you into their group. I have met many friends whom I keep in contact with thanks to their kindness as MSB.

Academic Flexibility: I was an online student. I work 50 plus hours each week and children. I chose MSB because it was convenient for my schedule. I was able to study at my pace, and on my time. I had deadlines, but I could work up to them on my own. Being an online student is great, but it requires extreme diligence in time management to ensure that you don't put the work off. I loved being an online student, and had 4 years of it to complete my Bachelors degree.

Online Courses: online courses are ok if you have time I dont like the idea of having to log in three times a week and have assignments due in the middle of the week. especially when you work full time and have a part time. plus go to school full time.

Campus Resources: the computers are always on line but I whsh they would students know in advance when there shutting down for updating.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I spent over $40,000 for a career that I might $20,000 a year

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I am able to take my courses at night so I can maintain my job.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is a little higher than our community college, but worth it if you need a more one on one setting. Our class sizes are small and teachers are very accessible.

Online Courses: I am not currently enrolled in any online classes, but do have to submit quite a bit of work online. The system is fairly easy to use and understand and creates a faster turn around time in getting test results and other scores.

Campus Resources: Very Focused on Helping With Your Field of Study – Minnesota School of Business is very helpful when you already know what field of study you would like to be in, for those who are unsure maybe a different college is for you. MSB is deadicated to helping anyone further their learning in any field. The staff is always willing to help sometimes answering questions through email at midnight. Even other students are helpful to each other in the same fields or different ones everyone is friendly caring and wanting to help anyone who asks for it. Their are also many different clubs for each program allowing fun interaction with students and staff.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Many Working People and Families – Many of the people at MSB work either full-time or part-time. Also, most have families so they have a lot to juggle with. Many of the people are older and are returning to school.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Excellent Communication and Flexibility! MSB has been wonderful for me so far. The flexibility of the classes is great...either go in the morning, during the day, or at night. Theres also online classes! The communication between everyone there is awesome! I recieve emails about what is all going on and if I have any questions, someone is always there to answer them! Also, you don't get lost in the crowd at MSB unlike some schools. People say hi to you and a lot of people know each others names. MSB is wonderful!
