Overall Experience: I am so glad that I chose to go to MATC. The teachers is my program changed my life in ways I didn't expect. I learned alot and didn't get into debt. I would chose this school all over again if I had to.

Campus Resources: There are not alot of resources but what do you expect from a school where the tuition is as cheap as MATC? The library is average and the campus activities are either poorly advertised or non existent.

Campus Resources: You get $10 of free printing. There are computer labs and computers in the library. The wireless is easy to access.

Student Body: There is alot of diversity. I can only talk about the music program but we are like a family. The students all help each other out and we practice/study together. Everyone is very accepting and welcoming.

Career Services: My program does not really have post grad services. But, the teachers will help you find job opportunities if you have the skills.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Compared to other schools, MATC is dirt cheap. You get an education that is applicable to life at a very low cost. My first semester I took 18 credits and paid around $2,000. Applying for financial aid was fairly easy. You only had to fill out one application for their scholarships which was convenient.

Facilities: Milwaukee Area Technical college consists of 4 main buildings. The nice thing about them is that they are all connected by skywalks so you do not have to walk outside. It is pretty easy to get from one side of campus to the other. But, I wouldn't say it is very interesting to look at. Most of the students don't care how it looks though. Since it is a commuter school, there is no real social scene.

Academic Flexibility: In the music program, some classes are only offered on one day at one time. But, the teachers will help try to work around scheduling issues. The general education classes vary in times/days so it was easy to fit them into my schedule. I had some of my AP credits transfer easily like math and science.

Online Courses: Online courses are great if you stay on top of the work. I would not recommend them for people who have trouble managing their time, easily procrastinate, or don't like to read. I prefer online courses for general education classes because I do not like to sit through lectures. My teachers would respond to my emails quickly and would offer to meet in person if needed.

Student Body: could be a lot better

Academic Flexibility: i work and go to school smoothly

Online Courses: My experience with online classes has been positive. Most of my online teachers are helpful and want to see their students succeed. The only difference is that an assignment can be turned in any time during the week it is assigned. The workload is average. The registration process is easy. Peer to peer interaction is required in all classes through discussion boards.

Campus Resources: The library is nice and comfortable but is usually full during the noon.

Overall Experience: My favorite experience is when author Wes Moore visited the campus. I would choose it again for the price. I wouldn't choose it again for the overall college experience.

Career Services: MATC has a career center on campus. It helps connect students with jobs in their field. MATC also has a job fair every semester.

Tuition & Financial Aid: MATC is a worth every penny, if you find the right professors. I'm a full time student and all my classes and books are under $3,000 a semester. The financial aid office is very helpful and willing to answer all my questions. Be aware that at the beginning of the semester there is a very long line to the financial aid office.

Academic Flexibility: My experience at Milwaukee Area Technical College choosing classes has been positive. MATC has many class choices from day to night to online classes to fit around any schedule.

Student Body: Milwaukee Area Technical College is a very diverse campus. The campus has people from every ethnic, economic, political, religious, sexual and age groups.

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't had an on-line experience.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: They have plenty places you can go fore resources its all over the building so you will always have help and information.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I personally think printing should be free or at least give the program that's going to do the most writing extra cash on the card.

4 College Junior

Facilities: we have food sold everywhere in our school we have teachers that flat out tell us what our program gonna pay in the long run.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The cost of the school is decent its not high I think financial aid need to get rid of the 150 rule.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have had a great time at MATC the classes were easy for me the teaching was very intense I would go back because its cheaper.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: There is a problem with class availability and times wait list are a hassle for someone who is trying to graduate and your pushed semesters back.
