Tuition & Financial Aid at Mildred Elley School - New York: My tuition is fairly expensive, but it's well worth it. Despite the lengthy process i'm very thankful for receiving some financial aid, however im still in need in funds to pay off the rest of my tuition.

Academic Flexibility at Mildred Elley School - New York: My experience at mildred-elley has been wonderful so far. The classes are very flexible, and doesn't interfere with my other commitments. Most of the professors are flexible and are easy to communicate with. They are willing to devote they're time to students on a one-on-one basis if necessary.

Overall Experience at Mildred Elley School - Pittsfield: I am a recent graduate of the Mildred Elley Pittsfield Campus, and I have to say that I have experience nothing but support and compassion. A good portion of the faculty and staff will go above and beyond to help a hardworking student succeed. In completing the Medical Assisting program I have had a great experience I enjoyed my time at Mildred Elley and would recommend this program to others.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Mildred Elley School - Albany: Not Enough Help – I feel like when I came here it was more of getting a story most teachers are good and teach you and will be there if you have any conceren. Finacial aid on the other hand i feel doesnt help you enough on getting all the money you need to have to pay close to nouthing or nouthing at the end people go back to go to try to make more money not add one more bill cause then all that extra money goes to your school loan when you finish I feel student keeping grades up and actually participating in the school and class should get more help paying for it and the people who dont should pay.

Campus Resources at Mildred Elley School - Albany: We have very good teachers that are willing to provide tutoring past their assigned class time.

Campus Resources at Mildred Elley School - Albany: There aren't many resources at all. There are library services avaiable; however, the hours cater more to day students. I am an evening student. We don't have any athletic services, activities, etc.

Academic Experience at Mildred Elley School - Albany: Office, Project, Event Management – I'm sad to report that most of the faculty "pushes" students through the courses. Most of them want to keep their jobs, so they don't like failing students-even if the student should fail. This school is not a traditional school; the graduation rate is less than 47%, yet they are still able to operate. I really feel as though this school is a sham. However, my current GPA is a 3.51; as you can see, I'm not there to play-but to graduate.

Campus Resources at Mildred Elley School - Albany: I have seen students bring in children (under age 10) to class, due to babysitting issues; students answering/talking on cell phones during class; students showing up for the first two weeks of a module-just to receive their financial aid checks-only to disappear once they receive it. It's total chaos...and the sad thing is-it's allowed! I understand this school is a private school; however, I really think some things should not be overlooked. I really think that the Registration process, Academics, Admissions and Financial Aid offices need to be closely monitored by the State Education Dept..

Overall Experience at Mildred Elley School - Albany: Upon enrolling in July 2010, I received more help from Academics, Admissions, and the Financial Aid offices. Once I signed off on the contract, agreeing to complete the Office, Project, Event Management A.O.S. program-all that changed.
To date, I have been continuously enrolled, making the President's List numerous times. I have a great relationship with all of my instructors, but I can't say the same about my Department Chair or any member of the Financial Aid, Admissions or Academic staff. Being an evening student, I can NEVER get an appointment. I've had two issues with the Financial Aid office, where they lost tuition vouchers I've submitted, on top of tax returns. Instead of apologizing for their mishaps, they've always placed the blame back on me, saying "I didn't submit the information" that was lost, only to have me come in and show them initialled documentation of staff receiving info from me-as I always have someone sign off on what I submit.
Overall, the school has a 44% graduation rate, and I'm sad to say that the staff-outside of the instuctors-view all students as dollar signs. The school's motto is "Mildred Elley, it's all about me"...well, after being there for over a year, I honestly feel that their motto should be revised-as it is not all about students; it's really all about money.

Campus Resources at Mildred Elley School - Albany: Networking at Mildred Elley – Mildred Elley has one positive side and that is computers are always available. When I first started there was not a open computer lab but now there is. Printing on campus is also nice because we have a few different computers we can print off of. Network is always up and ready to go. We can even bring our own laptops in and access the wireless network.

Academic Experience at Mildred Elley School - Albany: Academics at Mildred Elley – Our workload at Mildred Elley is average. Some classes can be a little heavy but due to that fact we have 8 weeks classes you should expect that. Class registration is very easy because they do this for you as you are not allowed to chose your own classes which is a downfall. Our professors are very knowledgeable and easy to get along with.

Overall Experience at Mildred Elley School - Albany: If I could turn back the hands of time I would not chose Mildred Elley. The school is majorly understaffed. To make a appointment with some one you have to book out for weeks. The most important down side is that there is no extra student loans as this school does not participate.
