Tuition & Financial Aid: Filling out FAFSA is always nerve-racking for me. I am a dependent student, I live with my mother and my son and at the present time I am unemployed because day care is extremely expensive so I stay home with my son. I am so thankful I receive some help with state lottery tuition assistance, but unfortunately that is not quite enough to cover my tuition each semester or books. My school's financial aid office is filled with very helpful people and they are accessible to us everyday. I did have to fill out a dependency worksheet recently, which my school did advise me how to do so and when I needed to have it turned in.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I thought the process was very simple and to the point.

Tuition & Financial Aid: When it came to finances my first year was pretty great and I was hoping my financial aid would help with summer courses however they didn't the pell grant doesn't cover the summer so that was a bummer. However my hope rose when I found out that I had won the lottery scholarship and I needed only one class to do this summer and the scholarship just the right amount but then I found out that I need to do at least two classes to be illegible for it and I can't afford two classes. As of right now I'm a bit torn but hopefully a financial adviser will help me in this time of need.
