3 College Senior

Student Body: I love getting along with people who share goals.

4 College Junior

Student Body: I take online classes mostly, so I haven't met many of my classmates, however the academic discussions I have had online have been very productive. Also in my face to face class the student body was very helpful and supportive, always willing to discuss something or help out. I would say alot of the students are returning/non-traditional students, so we have alot in common with juggling work/school.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: I see a lot of different age groups where I go to. Many people that I have classes are all different race and ages. Some have many things going on in their lives while trying to squeeze school in. No matter what their situation is, they are trying hard to succeed.

5 College Senior

Student Body: Everyone Is Equal – My school mostly consists of people with part-time jobs and/or families. We have an especially high percentage of displaced workers due to the economy. Most range from ages 40-60. Most students are not just students. Meaning, they play many roles including, student, parent, worker, etc. Everyone is very friendly, but most everyones main goal is to get their education so they can move on in life with their new career and be successful, so making friends is not a top priority for most.

5 College Senior

Student Body: Diversity Driven – Mid-State Technical College offers a great diversity program and they have a wide range of students from African American, Hmong, American Indians, Caucasion and many others. They also share cultural experiences through the diversity programs that they offer.
