Most Miami students bring their own computers to school, and the general consensus is that the labs on campus are not crowded—possibly because everyone brings their own! The University provides students with programs to load onto their computers before fall enrollment, and students can also buy a computer through the school with these programs already loaded.
When it comes to using computers in class, there are some classes where most students use one to take notes, while other classes prohibit them while in session. Every building on campus has wireless Internet, which is really convenient, and the library has a printing station in case you don’t have a printer in your room. In general, although they are useful, if a student doesn't own a computer, there are enough places around campus to use or rent one for the afternoon.
