Campus Resources: The computer at our school has its ups' and downs'. The main reason why is because sometimes our share drive for our school wipes out of no where. The pros are all the programs are really helpful and helps me learn so many good things.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I do believe I am getting my moneys worth attending this school. I've learned more than I could ever do by myself. My only issue like so many other college students is the price, and it keeps going up. Right now I have two loans and one scholarship. I feel like I'll be in debt till I turn 50. But, my financial advisor is amazing. She is alway letting me know if there is a scholarship available, if there is anything changing, or if she fixed a problem that may have occurred. She looks out for me and that is a rare thing to find. True, the price is sky high, but the experience and the interactions are worth it.

Academic Experience: Academically, everything about the school is pretty simple. Sometimes the the only issue is the workload. As a photography student, you are always doing some sort of project (I guess thats true for every other major too). Its not the professors' fault for throwing curveballs at you and you cant handle it. What I've learned is the most important assest you can ever have...TIME MANAGEMENT! If you are a procrastinator, if you are lazy, or if you are not passionate about learning and you fail, it is in no way the professors' doing. If you can't handle the workload, then there is no way you will make it in the real world.

Academic Experience: I personally give my photography major an A- only because sometimes they can be a little to "eccentric" for me. Don't get me wrong, I love what I'm learning and can't think of anything else that I want to do. My only problem is that I specialize in Documentary or Nature Photography while everyone else; students and professors, practice either Fashion or Abstract Photography. The work is fantastic, but I'm just not into the "artsy-fartsy" side of photography and that is what most of the professors preach. I'm being pushed way out of my comfort zone, but in ways that has helped me immensely. I love my major and my fellow photography students, but it shouldn't always be about the "artsy-fartsy" side of photography.

Academic Flexibility: When you first start, the schedules are extremely flexible. You were able to pick which days and times that you wanted to attend. However, the closer you get to graduating, the classes become extremely limited. Luckily for me the times still work to my advantage most of the time. If for some reason you can't attend a class just because of the time its at, you can easily consult your advisor or a Chair member to find another solution.

Campus Resources: Very helpful! I can't begin to describe how helpful all of this was for me. I can go to the Library for research, then head for the computer lab to work on my animation.

Campus Resources: Very supported team of people. They work hard to make sure all of the students get the best experience they possibly can. I have had plenty of moments when they help me in tight finanical moments and overall scheduling.

Campus Resources: Since I am just going to start to attend the Miami International University of Art and Design I'm not quite sure how their campus is. From what i saw when I visited was that the school is very big. Class room sizes are big and spacious, and he food court looked nice and clean.

Career Services: I haven't gotten to start looking at the career center and alumni networks just yet.

Academic Flexibility: I am currently still enrolled in the Art Institute of Tampa and starting my next quarter in Miami International University of Art and Design. The transfer was at first a little difficult but once all the papers were obtained and fill everything went by in a breeze. I applied, did my financial aid, and enrolled at the school in just one day.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process is very difficult to understand. It is an extremely expensive school that requires you to make payments every month if you want to keep up with your financial aid or be prepared to need a private loan starting your junior year until you are finished. This is a for-profit school so plan on spending at least $80,000 for your bachelor's degree. If you can't find a cosigner for a private loan there is basically nothing you can do. In my personal situation I am almost maxed out of financial aid and they expect me to make payments of $2,000 a month if I want to continue my education. I'm assuming that other college students wouldn't be able to afford this on their own on top of personal bills they have to pay monthly.

Campus Resources: There are a lot of nice classrooms with very good computers with all the programs necessary you might need (basics like word as well as illustrator, photshop, etc). The printing process you have to go through though is not a good one in my opinion though. To get something printed at school in color or in a bigger size (for projects and such) you need the file and a printed black and white copy to order it. Then you have to go all the way to finance with your receipt to pay and get it stamped. Then you take that all the way back to printing services. The regular black and white is not as tedious but gets broken itnseems somewhat frequently.

Academic Experience: I really like how it is mostly classes having to do with my major and not so many general ed classes. The classes are enjoyablenfor the most part especially with great teachers who know what they are talking about since they have been in the business and have experience. The only thing is that there are a lot of projects which can get a little overwhelming especially towards finals, where pretty much all classes (major related) have big time consuming final projects!

Academic Experience: The professors are really helpful to the students. Some come straight from the workfield and they give us honest answeres, they don't sugarcoat anything. Others are really looking out for the students and they give really good advice on certain topics.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel like i am getting a lot of information and experience with the school. It's just that sometimes financial aid is a little hard and I am paying my way through school by myself while being a full time student.

Student Body: The student body here is amazing. Even though there are different majors we are all willing to join together and collaborate on projects for classes. We can all easily get along. Most students do have part-time jobs so they have a good sense of responsibility and time management, which is a plus.

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because it was the only school within driving range that offered Media Arts and Animation that promised results. This is my first school after high school so i can't really say if there were any difficulties enrolling that i could tell. The financial aid department do help whenever I am in a tight spot.

Academic Experience: Knowledgeable and extremely resourceful professors. The whole staff works together to ensure the student gets the most out of the program. Miami International Institute of Art & Design is the only University in Miami SOLELY devoted to art and design, that offers a Masters degree in Fine Arts. It is also credited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is well worth the investment, MIU is a fresh school with up and coming young driven talent. Very pleased with my final choice for MFA program.

Academic Flexibility: The class schedules are flexible and the staff is very helpful. I was able to transfer my credits from Miami dade college very easily. The advisers helped me with the transfers and explained to me what was transferred and what was just used as credits.

Campus Resources: I love that the teachers not only know what they are talking about from experience but are still experiencing what you are learning. They live their careers everyday.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: They are pretty good in finding you a job. They called me before I even reached out to them to find me a job.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: We have good resources to use on a daily basis, from the computer labs to the print stations. We also have equipment rentals for when students may need something to finish a homework or project.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There aren't any sports, probably because we artist aren't usually that into sports. The student center is good. The library is nice and quiet with helpful staff. The campus is always clean and well maintained at all times. There are always activities, clubs and different events that students can join in.
