Transportation: The school provides shuttle services to and from the local train station and to and from Mass. General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Spaulding Hospital which are the hospitals where all the nursing students have their clinical. The shuttle is very convenient and it runs very 15 mins. There is also a bus stop in front of the institute which I use every day to go to and from home.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Not much to do within walking distance, but close to downtown boston

5 College Sophomore

Academics: One of the main reasons I selected this school was because it offered the Dual Adult Gerontology/ Women's Health track for the direct entry nurse practitioner program. Also, the school begins clinical placement during your very first semester which means that I will be given ample experience in not only learning but also successfully applying the tools necessary for me to become a nurse. The workload may definitely seem overwhelming at first but you are given the option to take certain classes the summer before your second year which would allow you to lighten your workload for your second year. There is likewise the option to attend school part time once you receive your RN and then you could also work at that time as well.
