Campus Strictness: They come off as being strict, but if you're not dumb about what they threaten you with, you can get away with it. The RA's really don't want to do the paperwork (some of them are the worst offenders *cough cough*) and campus security really doesn't care.

Academics: I love my major, and I love my professors. I love that I get to do what I do and wouldn't change it.

Greek Life: I'm not Greek, will never think about being Greek, but my friends that are love it. I think it's great for the people who do join and it's exactly what you make of it.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I live on campus, so I can't really answer this question.

College Sophomore

Nightlife: I'm not a partier, but I have friends that do. They go to DM's sometimes (which sounds sketchy as heck and you'll never catch me dead there), but there is a lot of drinking on campus, even though (maybe especially?) because it is a dry campus. If you're not dumb about it, though, you won't get caught.

Off-Campus Dining: There's always Taco Bell, Cook Out or McDonald's for late at night. Nice healthy vegetarian options within five minutes of campus are basically nonexistent.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I'm very happy with my program, and all of my friends in different programs are very happy with theirs.

College Sophomore

Majors: I kind of just got in when I was accepted. I'm not a nursing major so I'm not really the right person to answer this question.

Transportation: Unless you know a friend with a car, can afford a taxi or are okay with risking your life on the public bus, you're not getting off campus.

College Sophomore

Drug Safety: I don't really run with that crowd, and I'm also not very observant so I don't know.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: When the weather is good, campus is lovely. When it snows, when it's not an absolute nightmare to get off campus, it's also quite nice.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The business office is generally pretty helpful, but the process is long, arduous and stressful.

Local Atmosphere: Not very cultural around campus; wish that there was more to do.

Health & Safety: One girl was raped in the parking lot, i believe that is as safe as you make it.

3 College Junior

Majors: I enjoy my classes because i really want to learn about the subject of nursing.

Campus Strictness: Methodist University is very strict. There is no alcohol allowed on campus. We have a curfew that we have to follow so that we don't get in trouble by arriving late to our dorms. I would definitely say that I would much rather attend a different university that allows for more fun, and ineteresting activities to goon around campus.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus and I don't go into any of the dorms.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: It's super easy to call a cab or grab the bus to get anywhere in Fayetteville. It's just a matter of how much time do you have and if you know which one is cheaper.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I'm married with kids, so living off campus is my only option. I feel that the prices are okay, but compared to a student's income, it's probably not worth it. Many students chose to live off campus so they can drink and not have to worry about the no alcohol policy. I'm not sure what the school does to help students find places off campus.

Academics: Mass Communications at my school is pretty bad. We only have two professors and they are complete opposites of each other. The one literally teaches the same class through out all of his classes and tries to hard to relive his glory days and refuses to listen to students if their ideas or opinions don't match his own. The workload, for me is fairly easy. The facilities are outdated and our department chair has to constantly update things on his own without help from the school. Essentially our program is dying off and it's really sad.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: The academics at school can be pretty intense. The more popular programs, such as nursing or bio-chemistry have students pulling out their hair by the end of their first semester. Other programs, not as much. Overall the professors are pretty good about helping you out and ensuring that you're doing well, but you have to ask for the help. They don't spoon feed it to you, which is a good thing. The registration process is pretty easy, most you can do online yourself or meet with your advisor to get your schedule set up.

Weather: The weather at Fayetteville is almost always wacky. It rains one day, it's 80 degrees the next, then falls to 34 degrees. It's like it can't make up it's mind what season it wants to be or what temperature.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus dining isn't the best but it's sometimes a lot cheaper to eat off campus than it is on. The convenience factor is based off the student's schedule. There are rarely any student discounts, the only one that is offered is at Chick-Fli-A and that's only the one that's located by the school. The variety is okay, but it gets old after a while.
