2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial aid process is good but there are no merit-based scholarship programs to apply for in my program at Mercer.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: I had a great experience with financial aid. As an independent student, they were very easy to work with.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Changing states, I had to go through the verification process with the federal government. However, the financial aid advisors were the most helpful people that I encountered during this process, leading me down the correct path in terms of financial aid.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Well, I was eligible for the Presidential Scholarship (full-tuition coverage), so I applied for it, took the steps necessary to be considered for it, did a good job at my interview during the Scholarship Competition weekend, and got it--so that was a great perk. Plus a few scholarships from the side. Being a good student in high school really helps--you can get State Financial Aid (Zell Miller, HOPE), in addition to what the University can give you.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Mercer is a private institution that is very expensive. The school provides a lot of scholarship money to their students, however the outstanding balances are still significant and many students struggle with paying it.
